I'd say it's a mostly adult atmosphere. Maybe once an hour a CM leads the kids in a race of some kind or singing. But for the most part, very adult. It's tropical... like the rest of the Polynesian. Plus if you get seated on the right side, you get a view of the MK.

Admittedly I've never tried the luau (but friends did and weren't impressed). but Ohana is awesome. Food is bottomless and excellent, different fare than at other Disney restaurants. Atmosphere is excellent as well. And they have entertainment for kids as well (albeit kinda lame). :)

We have 2 DDs, ages 3 1/2 and 19 months and will be going to WDW next month. We LOVE Wilderness Lodge (stayed there for honeymoon) and would like the kids' to see the ginormous Christmas tree there. But, is Whispering Canyon worth it? I remember eating there back in 2001 and wasn't all that...

So if CHH has kids' meals, what are they? We were planning on eating there at some point with 2 toddlers, but I'd be interested to know what is on the kids' menu there. Otherwise, after reading about no chicken kids meals, I might defer to Cosmic Ray's instead.

I need a PNP as well and called my resort directly about it (Movies). The operator told me that we are ASSURED of getting a PNP, she's never heard of someone NOT getting one. She told me to call back 7 days prior to our arrival date and request one. Same with a fridge and bed rails. Just FYI.
