We stay off site for the money as well. If we had stayed at a value resort for 8 nights plus a 6 day base ticket we would've spent over $4500. Same deal cost $2100. We drive down and use our van anyway and with 6 of us we could all the savings we can get.

I get orlando attractions magazine, passporter, unofficial guide at home. On line I do this site, allears.net, touring plans, disboards, mousepanet and mousesavers. I also got the disney dvd, custom maps on disney site and the guide to the magic for each of my three dgks.:lol:
