you know what seems to work on a lot of kids...the songs!!!! Get some soundtracks and Disney park Cd's and kids will be singing along in no time. Then when they get to visit WDW they'll hear lots of familiar music and be able to sing along

The building designs are also all based on different styles. The WDW version is art deco, DL and Paris are Pueblo Deco and Tokyo which is New York Gothic. The colouring of the DL and Paris ones are more in line with Pueblo Deco architecture...not saying I like it...just saying where it came...

I agree that you don't have to wait for an hour in line but after 27 vacations to WDW and 18 months working there the only way to guarantee that is...don't get in the line ;) I've seen lines range from 5 minutes to 4 hours (yup...4 hours) so you'll have to decide how much you want to do a ride...
