News Avatar Experience coming to Disneyland Resort

The Grand Californian alone provides a safety blanket to this area I believe. You can’t really disturb it without affecting the hotel that is basically inside of it and I don’t see anything happening to disrupt the flagship resort there on a scale like that. Logistics aside, the combo of GCH...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Totally understand the work process and don’t blame the majority of paint issues on Disney. It’s just a bit disappointing. I’ve physically seen parents let their children peel off large sections of paint both at Disney and Universal. (Most notably some kid walked away with basically half the...

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Rode twice today due to an audio issue. Three separate weeks this month that the audio cut out in the AT-AT scene before getting in the elevator. The cannons before the escape pod scene also haven’t moved at all this month. To top this all off there are a ton of paint notes that need to be...

Jobs for Cirque in Orlando have been posted. Specifically a Marketing PR job that works with WDI. Hopefully we know more soon once that position is filled.

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Is that true though? I know people that have been through Mickey who basically said that it’s delayed almost entirely to space it out from SWGE. They could have it ready if they wanted.

News Planet Hollywood Super Store to close at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Growing up in the north (specifically Northern New Jersey), 711' do not really have gas pumps up there. I was surprised to see 711 branded gas when I moved to Orlando.

Are changes coming to Florida passholder program?

I believe they want us residents to fill the parks in the off season, so they offer the discount as an incentive. Also, they offer residents more pass options. Where non-residents get either the premium or premium plus, residents get the weekday, silver, and gold as well. Ultimately I believe...

    Big changes to magicbands?!

I understand your reason from a moral/financial viewpoint more than people who think it will hold up a line. You have very valid points. I still find convenience in Apple Pay myself, but I can see why some don't bother with it. For me, it reduces clutter in my actual wallet. I don't carry my...

    Big changes to magicbands?!

Well, if its integrated into Apple Wallet, it will pop up on your screen or watch when you hold it up to the NFC reader. Thats how apple pay works as well. There is no need to open the physical app. I agree with you on there being nothing wrong with a ticket, but in the world of magic bands now...

    Big changes to magicbands?!

They wouldn't need to add third party NFC support. It could work the same as NFC loyalty cards at Walgreens, express, etc. Disney would just need to make cards addable to the wallet system rather than directly link to the NFC reader through the MDE app.

    Big changes to magicbands?!

All I want is Apple Watch/Apple Wallet functionality for my pass. If Walgreens can have their rewards card work through iPhone NFC I should have my Disney pass there too.
