New DAS System at Walt Disney World 2024

This "I'm not allowed to see that" is exactly Disney's problem. With no proof needed of disability, anyone could and WAS claiming disability. "Yup, you just have to say you have a problem and you get the pass, so go ahead, tell them anything and we're good." I don't understand why they can't...

Disney/Raglan Road Sued Over Food Allergy Death

A true tragedy and an unacceptable one. This poor lady did everything right, and yet still died. I am against lawsuits in general, but sometimes, it is so egregious that it needs to be.

Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

As the grandmother of an autistic child, I agree with you 100%. We would not mind bringing medical proof of his diagnosis, (we used to do this all the time, but they never wanted to see it), or a letter from his physician(s). We tell them about his problems, and they just take our word for it...

    Only In Disney....

Only in Disney- do I look at the faces of my grandkids during the ride- instead of the ride- and enjoy every precious smile.

Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek - Thoughts?

It's the only thing that got us out of disney hotels. We LOVE this place. Like you we always have a car anyway so transportation not an issue. It also is the only thing that got us to start spending a whole day at our resort, the pools and lazy rivers, golf course, splash pad are so great...

Thoughts on when there might be changes to masking/capacity/onboard activities

Now that tests are easy to find and inexpensive (and I'm not depriving someone who thinks they are positive from getting their hands on a test) I have stocked up. About 20 kits in the house (40 tests) and we plan (all 7 of us) to do them before leaving home, before leaving our hotel room in...

Trip Report Making Lemonade out of Lemons Fractal Family Trip Report - Completed

Thanks Fractal. I haven't been to this site in months, I just can't......too depressing. We had to cancel, my brother had to cancel.....just boo! It is a quiet day at work and thought I'd check if any of my "friends" (you know, the ones I think of as friends even though I've never met them)...

    Pin trading on cruise

if you have a child with you try to get them to be the "officer of the day". our kids were chosen last cruise to do this. they were asked while we were in one of the shops trading pins with the staff. by being the officer, the kids showed up before the trading started and were handed...

New Rule: For orders placed after 10/1, guests must be present to meet mobility vendor deliverypersons

I couldn't agree more. Disney has made EVERYTHING so expensive that people are trying to save money wherever possible. And why wouldn't we? I myself have finally started staying off site, something I never thought I'd do, but the cost is so much less and parking is free and they accept my...

    Do you disembark in Nassau?

depending on the age of your kids, I recommend the blue lagoon dolphin encounter. we have done it twice with our kids, they were from 5-10 at the times. still talk about it as the highlight of the trip. if you have somewhere else you can easily do a dolphin experience, then stay on the ship.

Whispering canyon café. Lincoln logs to play with while waiting for table. Stick pony races around restaurant. Lots of hollering out loud and silliness going on.
