    Proposing at WDW

Three simple words my friend. Cinderella's Royal Table. Proposed to my wife there and it was PRICELESS!

    No WDW Trip This Year

I feel for you because we are in exactly the same spot, family of 5, no POR offering and just cant quite choke down the additional cost of moving to a family suite or cabin. We had gone every year 2007-2012. I really wanted to get back on-site at WDW this year because last year we took our...

    Free Dining 2014?

Offered to leave the wife home......she wasn't amused!

    Free Dining 2014?

Yup, were in the same boat. Family of 5, limited budget. We've been going every year since 2007. Seems kind of unfair that we are forced to spend even more $$$ on a family suite or cabin just because we are a family of 5. If we decide to go anyway this will cut our total # of days down...

    Confess your Disney Sins!!!!

My greatest Disney Sin....going to Universal last year!!!

What's the biggest mistake Disney has made?

Dinoland USA! It's like a cheap carnival. I know that's how it was designed but to me the whole thing is far from magical.

Never Again!. Nope I Mean It.

Our first time at POR was not good at all & I vowed to never go back again. Bus problems, luggage problems, housekeeping issues plagued us every step of that trip. However, with a family of 5 it is our cheapest option at WDW. That being said, we booked again the next year with fingers crossed...

Ever seen someone famous while at wdw?

Joan Rivers at the Electric Umbrella in Epcot 2008. Just her with a couple of cast members! She was very nice to people who approached her.

Popping the question at the parks pros and cons

Got engaged to my wife at Cinderella's Royal Table in 2009. They treated us like royalty! Great atmosphere to propose!

    Days Since...

463 days, for us. Far too long for my taste. I finally gave in last year to the kids demands for Uni & HP. Now that we've been there, done that were all anxious to get back to our true family vacation place, WDW in 2014.

    Ticket pickup question.

Uni package but off property. Staying at Comfort Inn & Suites on Canada Ave. I was hoping there may be someplace at Citywalk we could pickup our tickets for the next day.

    Ticket pickup question.

Headed out to our first Universal Orlando vacation on 8-26. We're arriving in Orlando around 5:30 pm and wont be hitting the parks till 8-27. Can we access a kiosk to get our tickets on the night that we arrive? Or do we need to wait until the day the tickets are issued for?

    Question About Waterparks

Oh yeah, the bar, spent some considerable time there ourselves, great location!

    I miss it so much!

That is exactly what I've been telling my wife all along. I've never been to Orlando without going to WDW. It's going to kill me seeing all the DME busses rolling around. But this year we had some scheduling conflicts and could only squeeze in vacation for six days, which is another reason...

    I miss it so much!

Oh am I with you on this one, but at least you within the Disney Bubble. We have made 8 trips to WDW in the past six years, yes, Disney is our happy place as well. This year, I'm bound to keeping a promise and going to Universal for the first time to experience Harry Potter. I promised my...

    Airport Transportation booked through Universal

Hey everyone, Just wondering how the transportation works from MCO to our Universal Partner hotel. When booking through Universal I also booked transportation that was offered on the site. I believe it is via Mears Transport van. We fly into MCO 8/26 at 5:50 p.m. and are trying to figure out...

    Question About Waterparks

We are TL nuts as well. We find that our time at Typhoon Lagoon is our place to relax while on our WDW vacations. There's nothing like floating down the lazy river, through the "jungle" of just hanging out in the wave pool!

Universal Customer Service & New Meal Plan

Hey again everyone! Now that Universal is offering 2 days of their meal plan for free, I was considering trying to switch packages. Two days of free food is a great deal for a family of 5 with with three boys. Right now we have booked the Harry Potter Package, early admission of IoA, Three...

Universal Dining Plan to be introduced
