What Movie Should HAve Its Own Ride

Let's start a campaign to bring back those shows! I miss Tarzan Rocks so much. I mean, Nemo is good but the Pixarization of the parks must be stopped! And Hunchback was my dad's favorite attraction. I felt so bad for him when they jilted it. And for no good reason!

What Movie Should HAve Its Own Ride

She already has Ariel's Grotto and the Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Make room for Mulan! ;)

What Movie Should HAve Its Own Ride

I wish Aladdin had a better ride too. Also, I think Mary Poppins should get something, though I have no idea what it would be (maybe Peter Pan's Flight-ish). Emperor's Groove has a TV show, but it's super lame so an attraction would help redeem it. I also agree for the Hercules ride. Oh and...

    CBR For the First time.

Note: The CBR main pool is closed until the end of September. CBR has some major flaws, the big two being size and the inadequate food court. But if you can deal with these problems, CBR is lotsa fun! It's tropical, casual, and playful. There is always something going on - a scavenger hunt...

    Which deluxe resort?

I wish the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and AK Lodge were options. Those are my top three. I picked Beach of those, but I'd prefer the other 3.

WDW with a 1 year old

There are many rides for teeny guys, but remember that the best part of Disney for him will be the lights, colors, change of venue, and extra attention from you. However, for a one-year-old... MK Dumbo (maybe not though - very fast for a baby) Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Small World...

Neverland Club and Other Childrens Clubs

As a seven-year-old, I loved Neverland Club. We got free video games, danced in hula skirts, and watched movies. The food was crud, but who cares? :p The play area designed like Wendy's nursery was like nothing I had ever seen before. It made me laugh with delight. The Cast Members were a kinda...

The one WDW food you want right now

It would either be a mango smoothie from Lotus Blossom Cafe - that is the most delicious drink I've ever had! :slurp: - or it would be the the orange creme brulee at the Land Pavilion. It's so heavenly. But, of course, I do crave Dole Whip in-between trips.

How old do you think kids should be before

The main factor is if you have more than one child. I suggest that your oldest/only child be at least 4. They're walking, potty-trained, and able to communicate on some level by then. That translates to less work for you and them being able to tell you what they need. As for the youngest kid, my...

Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival, is it worth it?

There's a common misconception that the Flower & Garden festival is exclusively horticultural seminars and planting tips. There is a concert series of hippie-variety-"flower-power" bands, there are topiaries in the shape of Disney characters, and certain park gimmicks are put in place like...

    No love for Donald

In the mid-90s they sold Daisy and Donald baseball caps - their bills were the visors. But they didn't sell well enough.

    Space Mountain Queue "Space" Windows

Will everyone stop assuming that everything is pepper's ghost? :zipit: Yes it's a great effect, but Disney doesn't just repeat the same success over and over. The Imagineers are too creative for that. Look at how varied the parks and resorts are! The SM window effect is done by placing an...

    Beach Club vs. Yacht Club

Beach Club is still very New England, first-class elite (lots of gingham dresses and snap-snap "waiter!") but it isn't so formal. Yacht is very uppity. I nearly died and I only went there for a day! I felt so out of my element! I would put the Beach above Yacht for people who'd be comfortable at...

    Being IN the WDW Parades

Oh great story! Back during the WDW 25th Birthday celebration, I was a cute little girl in blonde pigtails. Me and my big bro were both in a "Beauty and the Beast" kick-line in the afternoon parade! Priceless photos! After that parade dissapeared (don't know what it was called) there really...

We are going to WDW in 37 days, no ADR!

Some people can't go to Disney without fancy meals, but kids hate them and you can find a variety of counter-service restaurants. And, of course, the Winn-Dixie and/or Publix are great money savers that provide some healthy snacks.
