    "You Just Don't Like Change"

I agree! 100%! Change for the sake of change is never good. And it’s obvious that “changes” have resulted in the undesirable Disney that we now have!

    I like Bob Chapek

This is a joke right? Sometimes it’s tough to differentiate wacky ideas from sarcasm. Please let this be sarcasm!

Disney to mandate full vaccinations to employees

Court rulings can be wrong. Constitutionality is a different matter. There is NO Constitutional basis for allowing companies to demand specific health measures.

Disney Has Lost It's Way - An Article From The Federalist

This is exactly why for the first time in 35 years, we are looking for different vacation destinations! Well stated!

    Why dislike for Iger?

Well stated! The parks have suffered tremendously! Never thought I’d say it, but I’d take Eisner back, in a heartbeat. If nothing else, he understood the parks!

More offsite hotels to offer Extra Magic Hours and extended FastPass+ booking window

I’m pretty sure that is what they were working toward hearing guests say. Disney knows it’s bad. They just wanted to give guests time to realize it!

Disney Pulitzer Prize post. This single piece of explanatory literature (yes, literature) encompasses all that we, as 35 year Disney World veterans, have been commiserating about for years. Disney is losing it's uniqueness, it's quiet dignity, it's superiority, because a generation of hip...

I like My Disney Experience but definitely want to vent about fast passes. Anyone with me?

I’ll just go on record here by simply saying I hate Fast Passes! But I also hate having to book DVC 11 months out to get exactly what I want, and Dining 180 days out. Hell, I don’t know what I want for dinner tonight, let alone 6 months from now. I remember when planning a Disney trip was half...

Best place for lobster at WDW?

Disney doesn’t do lobster. The crawfish sized tails at Narcoosee’s we’re defi not worth the money. Don’t really see them anywhere else. A few places downtown do whole lobster, but I haven’t tried them.

Pay more, get less. When does it end?

I totally agree with “pay more, get less.” There are fewer EMH, they are only 2 hours, not 3, NO rides should be closed during EMH (on our trip in May, very few were actually open, which made those few, incredibly crowded,) transportation stinks, all but a few small food places close during...

Stop the "If Walt was alive"!!!

Probably because Walt, in many documentaries, made his philosophy of entertainment, very clear. And it therefore becomes pretty easy to discern which things at Disney would fit his philosophy and which wouldn’t.

Would you prefer a larger shower and no tub?

No one chlorinated the tub for me.

    Whispering Canyon Change

W Well, sorry to say, we just returned home from Disney and all was quiet at Whispering Canyon. It’s true. They were to,d to stop the shenanigans. As it annoyed some diners. My thought was, well, don’t go eat there. It’s advertised as a rootin’ tootin’ fun place. But Disney caved to the...

So why weren't there many strollers back in the day?

Two things: first, these things aren’t strollers anymore. They’re sleep number beds on wheels. Secondly, lose the “crap.” I can now go to the park with just tissues and lip gloss in my jeans pocket. Use rules. If it’s your drink, you carry it or finish it. Same with food. Send purchases back to...

So why weren't there many strollers back in the day?

We folded strollers, much smaller than the double wides out there now, so that peoples’ toes were not casualties. People are babying their kids and using these monstrosities as Walmart buggies, carrying all their food, drinks and purchases. The worst is having these things pushed into monorails...

So is anyone not going anymore? (I'm still a fan. lol)

Business objectives and consumer objectives, while both indicate a success, are by no means the same.
