Epcot yesterday - Tour Groups as far as the eye can see

Ya know, I don't really know.... We've only seen it 3 times over the past 6 years. To be honest, I'm not a fan of the show, at all. It just had a real "soccer match" feel to me last week.

Epcot yesterday - Tour Groups as far as the eye can see

We were down last week and the groups were unavoidable. We were apparently at a soccer match in the middle of chanting and doing "the wave" when a showing of Fantasmic broke out.

    Dedicated 1 BR at Kidani

We toured the preview center demo models last week (12/07) and bought into AKV and I'm sure there are dedicated 1 br homes available there. We were told that some 2brs would be a connecting 1br and studio.

    Visit question

We just bought in to AKL a week ago. Not sure what the dollar per point was but Tammy seems about right. The incentives we got were $6.25 per point towards the down payment and a matching point program that has to be used @ Saratoga Springs by 10/03/2009. The only difference we could see was...

Quick Crowd & Pop Warner Comment

That is PERFECT! Any chance Disney will think twice before scheduling this again next year? Two consecutive years with physical altercations by teams, not including any small incidents that aren't reported anywhere. Not that ALL the kids act that way, but there seemed to be a lot of youngsters...

Quick Crowd & Pop Warner Comment

I have spent hours on the member site already. The wife is getting slightly annoyed that we have the next 3 or 4 vacations planned already. With all the different places available to go I'm chomping at the bit just to reserve rooms. We made that same statement that we should have bought in 8...

Quick Crowd & Pop Warner Comment

Just needed to add my two cents into this report. We were there for almost the exact same stay just a little earlier (Thanksgiving day arrival). Compaired to our visit in '06 the crowds seemed a lot heavier to us, we may have just gotten incredibly lucky in '06 with an early Thanksgiving day but...

    Pop Warner in December

oddly enough my 15 yr old son had nothing but praise for all of the cheerleaders crammed on the buses.:animwink:

    Pop Warner in December

We were there 2 years ago during the weekend games and there really isn't much evidence of the kids in the parks. The problem is the bus rides back from the attractions at night with the already full buses to those resorts that can become incredibly noisy. Especially since the POFQ & Riverside...

Avoiding Pop Warner - Which Resort?

Our first few days during Dec. 06 were during the Pop Warner games staying at the POR. The concierge informed us on our way over to the Aloha Dinner Show that a lot the the teams and cheerleaders stay in the POR since it is the least expensive resort wto accomodate 5 guests per room. All I know...

    2008 Theme

how about "Paint the World Red: Mickey marries Donald" maybe since mickey is 80 all the ears on the hidden mickeys should sag a little. "droopy Mickeys" or "what does Mickey what for his 80th birthday? Depends" sorry that one was bad...

    Mickey's Christmas Party

Little FYI on other X-mas specials. The gingerbread house at the GF is the largest display but not the only food carving display at the resorts. We were there from Dec 9-18 last year and found a Gippettto? and Pinnochio chocolate carving at the Contemperary, a pirate village display at...

    Kids surprise vacation? Planning?

We visited in last Dec and our kids didn't know about the trip until we arrived at the security gate at the airport. If you can fill out the educational trip form for the school and personally take it in to the school office with a notation that the trip is a suprise they should try their best...

What Classic Disney movies, do you think should have a ride at DW

An Emperor's New Groove lab ride would be great but wouldn't expect anything since we couldn't even find a pin associate with the movie in any park, hotel or store. How about a bumper cars ride with the Cars??.. Is there anything with Pinnochio?? Know my wife would love a Little Mermaid...

    Your dream WDW retirement job?

I have 26 yrs to go. Have my retirement gig pinpointed to either the greeter for the Magical Express busses or to stand above the exits in MK and wave goodbye with the big Mickey hands. Don't know what the rest of their jobs entail but it doesn't matter.

the i love pacos bill's thread.

Last trip was the first time we ate at Pecos Bill's. Food was a lot better than I expected. Was full but we found a table out by POTC, and right next to the seating area we found a EMH wristband distribution point.

    Pepper Market thoughts?

We were there for breakfast in Dec. 06. Thought it had a wider selection than other resort food courts. Service was good and they make a mean southwestern omelet.

    magical moment certificate

We were lucky Magical Moments winners too! Our family had our dream of a lifetime in Dec with our 2nd trip to WDW! But also were granted a Magical Moment one evening as we exited the SF Drive-In, and slowly made our way to the front of the park. Since it was not a MH night in MGM, I stopped...
