You could apply to work seasonaly. Go to the casting center, across the street from Downtown Disney to apply. If you are working seasonly, you more or less set your own hours. And you don't have to work all year.

That is why I don't find Illuminations all that great. I get very bored by the middle section. But the images are not enough to hold my attention, because I find it very hard to see what they are. I find myself looking around anywhere BUT at the globe during that section, I do continue to listen...

Yup! I used to work at SSE there is a trap door about 10 feet from the center of the top. You can see it if you're looking when you're in the planetarium. Mickey was attached to a cable with a harness so that he'd be safe if he fell.

The gloves that the cast members use to wave to guests are not the same gloves that Mickey himself uses. Mickey's gloves are actually much smaller than those ones (which can be purchased in the park). Mickey himself has hundreds of pairs of gloves that he keeps handy at each park, I doubt anyone...

I used to work at SSE and in training we were taught that it is an official hidden mickey. I always agreed that it wasn't that great. But all the other numbers are in red and the 3 is in black it makes it stand out more. I guess if the imagineers say it's a hidden mickey, then it is :veryconfu

We just got back form our first trip. Weather was cold and there was a lot of renovation going on, but we loved it. There were very few people around. Spent a lot of time talking with B'Lou Crabbe. We LOVED everything about the Island and the resort. I hope to go back again!

I would assume they'll change the backdrop and it'll become a meet and greet location for someone else. Perhaps Meet the Robinsons?

Ratatouille is a new Disney movie coming to theaters soon. Remy is the main character. Haven't heard anything about NEW Toy Story characters, just the same ones moving to Mickey Ave after Toy Story Mania opens. But we can all keep our fingers crossed!
