Sounds like a nice get away, but yuck to 2am pick up! I'm sure I'll be up around that time too, but at least I'll be lounging in a rocking chair in my pjs. :)

It looks like the boot is having a wonderful time at your house. The boot and I had a lovely relationship when I was in college. I broke one of the bones in my foot and got to spend some quality time with it. The boot was friendly, but I hope it never visits again.

The crazy thing is he's actually not in the military anymore. He works for the government now. I thought he was going to be done with the deployments when he was done with his military comitment, but I guess not. Goodnight Fishy! Hope you are feeling better soon.

DH is on call this week, so we can't go this weekend. I think we might wait and go with SIL when we go to the beach. I'm sure she's going to need a kids free night. Her DH just deployed to the middle east leaving her home alone with 3 kids under 4.:dazzle:

Sounds like I got lucky with our flights. Non-stop both ways for $79 each. We are flying back a little later than I wanted to, but I really didn't want a layover near bed time.

We had chicken on the grill tonight. I've been not so patiently waiting for us to get a grill. Now that we finally have one I plan to give it a work out this week. :D

That sucks! One of the reasons I decided not to fly out of our local airport was because it would require a layover (plus the fact that it was more than double the price of driving to baltimore). Are there usually open seats or do they tend to be full?
