Unmagical Day at the Magic Kingdom

Mmm, like a few others have mentioned you do come across as being entitled, I think you need to drop the Prince and Princess when refer to your children because they are neither Princes or Princesses and if you call them as such they risk growing thinking they are better than others. Nonetheless...

    Safe to go Early June?

We were coming from England and booked with the Walt Disney Travel Company, we cancelled our trip today, we were due over there on June 12th for eight days at the Yacht & Beach. We got a full refund and the lady said the parks being open by mid June looked very optimistic. I think the fact you...

How bad is Port Orleans Riverside?

We've stayed twice albeit many years ago, the first time was in 1997 when it was Dixie Landings, the next time was in 2007. We've stayed in all the Deluxe Resorts except the GF (staying there Dec 2016). I have to say Riverside is our favourite resort by far, I don't know if they still provide...

What has changed since our last visit in 2011?

We considered ourselves WDW professionals in the past, novice WDW visitors would call us for tips and advice. We had been visiting WDW every eighteen months to two years with our then three little boys since our first visit in 1991. We would go for three weeks and we've stayed twice at the then...

Do you feel like your ADR cause 'time' restrictions?

I couldn't imagine a trip without a few ADR, they have become part of our traditions. Yes they do mean you have to plan a little earlier, but that just adds to the excitment. Of course you can always cancel, if it really will cause a problem on the day.:)

Honest opinions of Spirit of Aloha

we went with our two boys aged 15 and 13, yes it was a bit corny and the food wasn't anything special, but the atmosphere was wonderful and we had a great time, if I'm totally honest had a better time than at CRT, been there twice worst food in the world! Would recommend over CRT anytime!!!!

I'm trying to book a round at Oak trail on line but don't appear to be having much success though I can get same tee times on the 18 hole courses. Is it more difficult to book Oak trail and should I try doing by phone instead? Thanks

The Dining Plan WAS a good deal but not anymore

That's too bad, so how many people do they share the tips with? I know it's a different country so it's a different culture but we've had some bad experiences regarding tips over there. In New York this Christmas and New Year it seemed like everyone we bumped into wanted a tip. We carried our...

The Dining Plan WAS a good deal but not anymore

I dont get the tipping culture your side of the pond. First of all in many restaurants in America the person that takes the order very rarely serves you, someone else generally brings the food. We are usually a family of five when on holiday and a bill can be between $180 - $300 obviously...

Oi bollocks How the hell are you? It's the old trouble causer Mr Lightbeer here, just dropped by to say hello I'm a reformed character now that I've got the hang of this internet thing, although I can still manage to insult and upset people with consummate ease. Anyway lots of stuff has...

Hi Tramp It's your old buddy Mr Lightbeer just thought I'd drop by and say hi, hope you and your family are all well. Our last visit was at The Poly last August, we had a fantastic three weeks and are just starting to get itchy feet for another trip. Take Care Col & Trish

The Dining Plan WAS a good deal but not anymore

I think the Dining Plan has impacted on the quality of the food also, last year we had the Dining Plan for the first time ever, we were staying for three weeks at The Poly so we saved a fortune eating out. However we were very disappointed with the meals. We ate at The Yachtsman Steakhouse...
