    Some what Disappointing?

We once mostly missed CC due to high winds. The Fantasy was late in docking, and i couldn't go snorkeling once we finally docked. Very disappointing.

    DCL Picture Of The Day

I think Alaska is still my favorite. Every time I look out our veranda, I'm disappointed if it's not Alaska that I see.

    Transatlantic, boring?

No, not at all, just gentle motion most of the time. Very little rain, and swimnable most days in the pools.

    Transatlantic, boring?

Yes, if for no other reason than to gain an hour a day on the ship. However, they say the northern route in fall is a bit bumpier and colder. Several prior western transatlanticers mentioned that the weather isnt as nice. Unfortunately, it won't fit into our schedule schoolwise either.

    Transatlantic, boring?

On the minus side, the DJ was often a bit too loud, our Seville tour was quite mediocre, and losing an hour most days was tiring. Even so, I would take a Transatlantic cruise every year if I could. Lots of days at sea.

    Transatlantic, boring?

Just got back. Amazing trip. Port days were actually our least favorite. Highly recommend the horse ranch in the Azores, the tapas tour in Cartegena, and the hop on hop off bus in Malarga. Shout outs to Padraig and Rafael in O'Gills, our cabin steward Aldo from Peru, Dede in the adult...

    Transatlantic, boring?

And I've got a long day at work to make sure my firm doesn't fall apart while I'm gone. We also have a neurotic dog to deal with. Not complaining, just agendaing.

    Transatlantic, boring?

True. Port days are the frosting, but days at sea are the cake.

    Transatlantic, boring?

It starts with 6 days at sea. Who needs the Azores, Portugal and Spain? Give me nothing but the ship, and I'm very happy.

    Website probs

Finally got in, but they demanded a blood sample to be given while standing on my head. I have had more issues with this website than any other the last few years.

    Website probs

Is it just me, or is the dvcmember website a slow mess of late? I tried logging on with my phone, my home computer, and my office computer in the last 12 hours, and I can't get past the balloons and circle of doom. All other websites I wanted to access have been fine. Just dvcmember has been...

    Transatlantic, boring?

Thanks, everyone. Only a few more weeks. My biggest concern is a reluctance, if not an actual fear, of leaving the ship and returning to the big bad world.

    Apparently, 2020.

    Eastern Med ever coming back?

So, years ago we opted for the Barcelona to Venice cruise instead of the Eastern Med to various Greek and Turkish ports of call. Bad choice. Eastern Med hasn't been offered since. Is it gonna come back anytime soon?

What will Disney do about the resorts expiring in 2042 ??

Could be. But I wonder if current owners would get first dibs or discounts when the new points go on sale.

What will Disney do about the resorts expiring in 2042 ??

Also, who is going to pay a bunch of annual maintenance fees when you only have a couple years left in your ownership? In order not to lose those owners, DVC will likely start offering new points or extensions around 2030 to 2035 or so. By that point, by the way, it'll be the original owners'...
