You know, those are the facts that can turn a lawsuit around. If Tigger is planning on suing the family (which I would!) then proving that the kid is in trouble at school and around town would win him that case... Maybe Tigger should do some research in New Hampshire public records!

The only suit is filed against Disney. Disney usually wins thier cases, or settles out of court. There aren't any charges filed against the CM according to the public files. I hope it stays that way.

If he was suspended pending investigation like the news articles say then it was without pay. As for the rest, they haven't released a statement on whether or not he'll press charges. I would. But that's just me.

Actually, that report was made SUNDAY NIGHT, they spent SATURDAY NIGHT at the hospital. The incident happened at 12:30 FRIDAY AFTERNOON. That's more than 9 1/2 hours. And a LOT of actions that could have caused it. I can see it now... Police: Did you by any chance ride Rockin'...

I'm so tired of repeating myself... This thread is WAY too long. As a CM, we are not allowed to speak to the media involving any kind of incident while on the clock. We are under contractual agreement, which, if broken, could lead to termination and a suit. Tigger won't be speaking out at all...

Seriously, read the article that accompanies the video. They name the CM. Michael J. Fedelem. Believe me, he's a guy. And he can sue all he wants. He denied medical treatment at Disney. They'll do thier usual, "Too bad, so sad. Denied treatment on property? Prove it didn't happen after you...

Okay! New update! The news here put audio INTO the tape that they had left out earlier. It is audio of the father warning the kid not to be so rough with the characters BEFORE Tigger reacts! And it goes on to say that the family is making claims that the kid spent the night in the hospital...

This morning my sister called me from IRELAND to ask if Tigger was okay. (She knows that he's one of my friends.) The world already knew.

He can't apologize. He's under contractual obligation that states that he is unable to speak to the press or the family. We all are, as CMs. If he did speak to the media, or the family he would be sued by Disney, at least thats what the paperwork says.

Personally, I see Disneydata's point. You don't seem to be open to any new ideas. And it seems like you're the only one who thinks that Tigger should be fired for self-defense. Disney can't do that, can't fire him unless he's convicted.
