We're doing the same thing thru Sam's Club. $5000 in gift cards (face value) will save us $250.

I used Disney gift cards. I'm not lucky enough to be able to have a Disney visa.

The discount name showed up on our reservation details when I went online to double check everything.

I'm not sure if they'll do it on existing reservations but he applied it to my new reservation and I didn't even ask anything about the upcoming discounts.

I just called to make reservations for our trip from February 22-March 1,2017, at POP. I at least wanted to get our reservation in and hope to get in on the discount on Monday when I call back. But, surprise, they are already automatically applying the " GIFT OF MAGIC" room offer!!! Saved me...
