I read a lot of your posts and hope you're not quite as judgmental as you come across, but I am having a hard time with this one. Please don't assume that you know the wants and needs of others; you can really only know what is going on in your own head, anything else is really just guessing and...

I'm trying to understand you point of view but I just can't - it is difficult to plan a vacation months out and discover mere weeks before that a favorite attraction is going down; or even worse, to have tried to plan around a refurb and discover when you arrive that it's gone on longer than...

Actually that is part of the "big deal" - so many folks make ADR's just in case so there is little availability for walk-ups .... the restaurant is holding your spot just in case you decide to show up. And yes, for the record I am one of those people that truly misses the 90's when you could...

See, this is why I don't care for WDW's version as much anymore - I'll be the first to admit that maybe I've just been terribly unlucky, but I have yet to experience a decent drop sequence since they went to random drops...it's been really disappointing!

Disagree on that one. I've only experienced WDW and DLR versions - while WDW obviously has better theming for the outside attraction experience and que, as far as the ride itself DLR version is hands down better...IMHO of course, YMMV :)

I was actually thinking the same thing - Once again, not to be insensitive, but without his prosthetic legs, how would he have met the height requirements for the ride?
