    Special Events for Easter Weekend

I am bringing my family to WDW for Easter. We have never been there on Easter, just the week after. Does anyone know of some of the special events that may be going on Easter weekend, on and off-site? (Dinners, shows, egg hunts,ect...) Thanks for your help.

Arielfan, You can always check Cinderella's Castle for breakfast as they now charge $10 to hold priorty seating which has to be cancelled no later than 24hrs out. This can result in some openings for the following day. They are located at the back entrance through the Castle. The...

    New rules on CM grooming

Just wanted to know how anyone feels about the new Disney grooming standards. I happen to like "old fashioned" or "traditional" when I go to Disney. You can see lax rules anytime you want down the highway at Universal Studios, Disney is supposed to be different or at least I thought so. You...

    Please dont change Spaceship Earth

"I am thinking I may actually write Disney about this. I am NOT one to complain and actually feel bad doing so because I LOVE Disney. I am 25 and we are going to have kids soon and I agree that a lot of the new rides I could not take kids on. I hope to give my kids the joy of Disney that I...

    Wdw Sars

CNN reported today that Disney sent to SEC their concerns that the outbreak of SARS could negatively affect theme park attendence. For now this appears to be a financial concern on this filing. Hope that is all it is, but why bring this up? Hmmmm.

    1st time annual pass

AP's are most deinately worth it. It doesn't matter when you buy them because the clock starts when you activate them. Not only can you get up to a 40% discount on Disney resorts, but many other perks. If you aren't staying on site your parking is free. I believe that after 8 days you are in...

    Grand Floridian

The GF is a great place to stay. If you go off-season you can usually get a pretty good deal. The grounds are awesome and the service is exceptional. These other posters are right when they say you won't want to go anywhere else. My wife and kids went there last year during the Christmas...

    just got back

That's why we'll go in Sept., Oct., Nov.from now on. We returned on July 2nd and were at WDW for 18 days. It rained about 16 0f those days so we just sucked it up and put on the MM rain slickers. We had a lot of fun but the lines were very long with the exception of 9am to 10am. We can't...

    Coronado Springs Resort

If you don't like to or can't walk too far try to stay in the main or front buidings. The others can be quite a walk but the grounds are beautiful, I believe bldg. 8 is near the main pool. This is a great resort, have fun.

    Guest Service? Sometimes... sometimes not...

I was very dissapointed that they don't have anyone to transport guests to thier room with thier luggage, but I guess that's one of the amenities that comes with the deluxe resorts. I think I kind of spoiled my parents when I had them stay at the Grand Floridian last time... hehe... (then again...

    Crowds????

"She heard that apparently they are running some kind of special deal for NYC police/fire personnel where they can stay for a really good price (actually she thought it was for free) for like 4 days." Toad: That was Disney's American Hero Salute and it ended on 4/30/02. A...

Disney Package versus a la carte

If you're going for seven days I would check into the annual pass. I think you are in the black at around nine days, but after your trip you'll have an entire year of unlimited use. Your Disney Club membership will give you a discount on the annual pass. Once you get it you can receive...

    polynesian or grand floridian

GF is great, especially bldg. 7,8 or 9 for castle views (watch the trees in front of Bldg. 8 though). The atmosphere is great too. The Poly is older but has bigger rooms. We love the GF. Good luck!!!
