I just called 407-wdw-info and they said that parks woudl be open as usual at 9am. I don't see how it can happen. Does anybody have a damage report of wdw property?
I just saw live on WESH that they have just put a curfew on everyone in Orange County from midnight until 6am. Also there is a curfew in Osceola county from 11pm until 6am.
istCrew,
I just wanted to let you know that I was at the Contemporary about a month ago when they had the giant crane in the north parking area and the construction workers said that they were putting stuff on the roof for some kind of nextel communications?? I don't know if that answers any...
I saw wishes 3 times last week and every time, I stood right in the middle of main street between the ice cream shop and casey's. This is by far the best spot. I just get there about 5 minutes before it starts, walk right into the middle of the street and stand right there while everyone else...
I have requested rooms 5 or 6 times and each time requested a specific floor, building, and location as well as non smoking. I have gotten the exact rooms I have asked for every time. :sohappy:
I just got back tonight from a 8 night stay in room 7184 at the Contemporary in the North gardem wing. I had a great view of wishes from my patio and was on the first floor only 5 rooms away from the food and fun center. we used the resort mugs at least 10 times a day because it was only a few...
front cab from purple monorail
When I was at the Contemporary last summer I saw it there for the first 3 weeks or so of my trip but I realized that it was gone during the last 2 weeks of my trip. I then saw it while riding the monorail through the contemporary. It was under a cover in the...
I have been on the tour and for railroad lovers, it is well worth it. I think it is like $20 each which isn't too expensive. You get to see the "roundhouse" which is also the monorail barn. Very cool tour and you can ask any questions you have ever had about anything.
I heard something about a Disney Catalogue Store in Virginia but I can't find anything out about it. Does anyone know if they have a website or what kind of merchandise it carries?
Thanks
I met an Imagineer one time on the ferry from the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom and I rode Mission Space during its testing phase last summer with a ride and show engineer.!:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:
Not only will you save money at WL compared to monorail resorts but you can take a boat from WL to the Contemporary and eat at Chef Mickey's and walk to MK or ride the monorail. I love staying at WL.
I go down to WDW between 4-5 times a year.
I also go to:
wdwig.com
wdwinfo.com
intercot.com
mousesavers.com
laughingplace.com
and the WDW passholders web site
On my last trip, I stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. At checkin, they told me that they had a courtyard view availible when I paid for a standard room. instead of the parking lot, we had a view of the pool, lake and woods for free!!!
Do any of you guys have one of these opening day Epcot tickets with the admission stub still attached? I've got 3! Anyone know what their worth besides 3 days admission?
FLCM,
I was on the phone with a Ride and Show Engineer last week and he told me that IASW would not be getting any changes noticable to guests except the loading/unloading area. Based on this info, I don't think they would redo an entire scene.
