Would anyone else like to see them bring back (for limited engagements) films from the past? They could have a "Retro Film Festival" For example: Magic Journeys, the original O Canada, The Timekeeper, Honey I Shrunk The Audience. The Holy Grail for me would be Magic Carpet 'Round The World.

Which buildings comprise the DVC section of the Polynesian? Are there advantages/disadvantages to any of them? This would be for a deluxe studio standard view. Thanks.

Will the new Fort Wilderness cabins be available for non-DVC members? If so, do you think the rates will be higher than the old cabins?

Bring a sweatshirt or jacket for nighttime and early mornings. On my first January trip to WDW, I was naive about Florida winter temperatures and brought only t-shirts. I froze my butt off the first night and had to buy a (very expensive) sweatshirt.

The current batch of room discounts run until December 25. When do you think they'll post the discounts for January/February?

The first trip was in late 1970's. I remember: Spending a lot of time at the Polynesian pool. Watching the glass blower making animals at Walt Disney World Village. Climbing on the ropes over the water at River Country. Watching Michael Iceberg at the Tomorrowland Terrace.

Early on, I enjoyed the traveling part. Maybe it's the increasing hassle of flying or maybe I'm just getting impatient in my old age, but now I wish I could just click my heels and be standing in my hotel room.

I've always flown to WDW, but just for the sake of trying something different, I'm considering taking the train for my next trip. I'd be traveling solo on Amtrak's "Silver Star" route. The thought of traveling coach for 22 hours (one way) doesn't exactly appeal to me, so I've been looking at the...

Ditto on the Segway tour. It's a great experience.

The worst part is waiting at the resort entrance for your transportation to the airport and watching people who are just arriving.
