    WDW Perfection/ Homesickness

Another fix to try -- the WDW Resort Official Album. We have the cd with about 21 theme songs from rides in all of the parks. We take it in the car for trips and listen to it during dinner, occasionally. In fact, I am listening it to it right now ...

    which is cheaper?

We took Mears once -- after waiting 45 minutes at MCO for bus to our resort to get there (and watching a a multitude of buses leave for other WDW resorts) and another hour bus ride stopping at two other resorts -- never again! For a family of four it absolutely makes perfect sense to use the...

Your Leave a Legacy Tile Location

I don't know the call letters of our location West - 3 - D something or other. We had our two kids pictures taken five years ago on our first family trip to WDW, so it is kinda special. The kids always have to find their picture before we go into EPCOT. For those of you concerned about...

Cash, Charge, Travelers' Checks or Disney Dollars???

We have always used the Charge Card/Room Key approach. The kids get all their spending money in Disney Dollars. They are old enough now to learn to budget their own money, so we don't get the constant "I want, I want, I want" routine. In fact, I don't even take my wallet with me to the...

    Wilderness Lodge transportation question

We have stayed at the WL many times and love the nice change that the boats offer. The wait times for the boats seem to be no different than for the buses and as Yellow Shoes said "It is a very pleasant and interesting ride". We even take the boat when going to EPCOT from the WL ... boat to...

Boatwright's Dining Hall @ Port Orleans Riverside

The last time we stayed at POR, then Dixie Landings was around 97 or 98. We loved it, a wonderful resort, very quiet and peaceful. As I remember, the food court at Boatwrights was always busy. We only hit it at breakfast though. It was very convenient for us to take the kids down before...

    Suggestions for OKW buildings/location?

We have stayed at OKW at least three times and just love it. Very quiet and the way the resort is spread out, it is like you are staying in a house not a hotel. Very cool. We have always been fairly close to the Hospitality House each time which is nice. Just a short walk to the main pool...

    Rental car price

We have always taken HappyLimo from the airport to WDW and when we leave they have taken us right to Alamo. They will pick you up any time of the day or night and take you anywhere you would like to go. I think any of the transportation companies will do that.

OK which Moderate.... I know its been done before.

We stayed at POR (then Dixie Landings) the first time we took our kids (6 & 9) to WDW, so my memories of the place may be a little biased. With that said, I thought POR was an absolutely wonderful resort. Very quiet, everything was within easy walking distance, great pool, excellent...

    Which Resort???

If I were going to WDW with two toddlers and were "planning to spend most of our time in Magic Kingdom", I would definately stay in one of the MK resorts. The monorail or boat from the resort to the MK is the only way to travel. You're not going to enjoy a long bus ride with 2 exhausted...

    WL villas recomendation

Honestly, You're going to love any room with any view. We have stayed at the Lodge once and in the Villas three times. I think the WL has the best atmosphere of any resort that we have stayed in (POR, OKW, BW). Because the area is surrounded with tall pine trees, there aren't any grand...

    Which resort should we choose???

We have stayed at the WL four times and can't wait to go back! It has a very romantic atmosphere, evenings are quiet a great way to crash after pounding the pavement all day at the parks. Transportation is great as long as you are not in a great hurry, we take the boat to MK and get the...

Anyone heading to WDW for Christmas 02?

We are considering going during the kids Christmas break. Are the decorations still up after the 25th? I know that MVMCP is over by then, how about the crowds?

    Exclusive Passholder pins

You can check the disney.com website for the prices and a list of benefits. I think you have to go to the parks 7 or 8 days for the AP to pay for itself. So if you are going two weeks out of the year then it would be worth it. Also keep in mind, you don't have to renew the pass every calendar...

how do you plan your WDW vacation?

We normally put together a schedule for each day but we keep it flexible to allow for the weather. For example, we'll say we are going to do one day at MK, a day and a half at Epcot, etc. Then we usually try to plan which days those will be just before we leave. We also keep our park...

    leave a legacy

We did the Leave a Legacy in 2000, with our two kids (12 and 8 at the time). They thought it was kinda corny then, but everytime we have been back to Epcot they love to stop and see their picture on the way in. It really is worth doing.

    I,m so confused!!!!!!

We've never been to POFQ, but have been to Riverside, which is a fabulous place. Very quiet and laid back, a nice place to retreat when the crowds get thick at the parks. From all that I have read in this forum, I think either of these resorts would be your best choice.

    Limosine service in/around WDW

We have always used Happy Limo, getting both town cars and a stretch. Their price includes a grocery stop and tips for both drivers (for a round trip). They are very clean and the drivers are wonderful. Due to heightened security measures, they cannot leave their cars unattended and wait...
