We usually arrive about 11 am on our trips and most times our room has been ready or they have been able to shift us to a room that is ready with our request in mind. Our last trip we did end up having to wait but I believe that was only because the person checking us in wasn't to keen on trying...

I have not done Astro Orbiter, Triceritops Spin, Circle of Life and Kali River Rapids. I would recommend that you go to Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, my DH loves it. It's fun, Turtle Talk with Crush is cute too but gear more to the kids in the room.

For the Parades I would not use the FP, when we were there in May the FP section was in full on sun, I found a spot on the opposite side of the street in the shade five minutes before the parade started. I just booked a split stay at Boardwalk for one night and the rest of week at AK-Kidani Village. We are using our DVC points and this was the only way we could get the whole week we wanted. We are going to be in a Studio room with Savanna View. I am not familiar with Kidani Village at all...
