I will be at Disney for the Bowl Game parade in December, is there public transportion from the resorts to downtown Orlando or should we just plan on driving?

18 hours if we drive straight through; but we always stop for meals and divide the trip over two days.

As I stated, we are going in October , you pay the rate for value, regular or peak season - that is why it will say $77 - $139 a night. Also, you pay the taxes for that first night.

Room only is one night - we just booked for room only and our deposit was $140.00 - we were told it depends on your travel dates. Room only needs to be paid upon arrival.

Count myself, my wife and my one daughter in the NO WAY. My Oldest is looking forward to it; but then again she is in line for MF at Cedar Point as soon as we enter the park everytime we go.

Sorry for the second response - yes, if you get a card with theft protection. Check with AAA, also most banks have them also now. We paid a small fee for the additional protection, but I felt itwas worth it.

We have used those prepaid cards and they work just like a credit card;and you can get a balance from any ATM. We have also used those old-fashioned travelers checks. Those are well protected against theft.

I believe the reason for this is because Christmas is on a Sunday and most stations air religious/church services to meet these requirements. If the service is scheduled for that time, the station can air the parade at another time; they would just have to tape it and air later.

Our district considers this an 'unexcused absent' - which means, the child can make up the work, but it is still can be counted against them. The final opinion is that of the individual teacher. Being we are in the time of year where snow days are possible, we all have a day-per-day lesson...

We traveled 21 hours with 42 high schoolers and survived.....Just keep the coffee coming LOL - we did Disney trivia on the trip...did you know Donald Ducks first movie was DUCK SOUP........LOL....it is fun to see what the kids will respond. Have fun and just enjoy their exitment.
