Because they are losing the rights to Aerosmith and slapping the muppets on that ride for a few years is a relatively cheap to solve that problem without having to put much thought or effort into it.

It seems that the details on the land are coming into focus at WDI and I expect some interesting rumors to start trickling out within a few weeks or so.

From what I’ve heard it was of this and the fact that it’s so far down the line of things that are going to be done that it made sense to push the announcement back a couple years and not “commit” to building it just yet.

I’m wondering how much effort are they putting into converting this into an office space? Like are they just taking the main beds out of the sleeping quarters and putting desk in their place or is there actual work being done to the building?

I’d say it’s credible that conservations are happening about ways to add space but I’m curious about what that means for the budget of the overall project. I’d rather have a small well funded land than a huge area that ran out of money to build anything amazing.

Out of curiosity does anyone know the acreage of the existing lands in Magic Kingdom?

I remember being so annoyed with COP the first time I went on it (mostly because my travel party was singing the song for the next three days but over the years I’ve grown to appreciate it.

Considering it was just announced a few months ago with the expectation that serious work on the project is still a few years away I have yet to find reason to think otherwise.

And let’s not forget the Villain’s land that will be behind that.

My guess would be it’s a bit of both but most of what we are seeing is for BTMRR.

It’s true that they aren’t the prettiest things to look at but I find the presence of cranes in the parks to be very exciting because it means something new is happening. It’s the price we pay to get updates and expansions.
