    News Walter E. Disney overhaul

Okay, I am very annoyed with someone commenting on this new video that Walter's new Baldwin whistle is a 5 chime: FYI, Baldwin never made manufactured 5 chime whistles whatsoever! It's a Baldwin 5-inch diameter 3 chime whistle! This annoying mouth-running user needs to get his words correct! 😠

    News Roy O. Disney overhaul

I think that's the new front driving wheels, because the old one has a chipped-off counterweight. Note: This is NOT my photo. It's on Flickr by H. Michael Miley.

    News Roy O. Disney overhaul

Let me make this clear, I sincerely do NOT believe Roy's American 5-inch diameter 3-chime whistle is from the Admiral Joe Fowler riverboat, because it's too far-fetched and its total speculations to me!

Feedwater heaters on the WDWRR locomotives

Nonsense, not all feedwater heaters are always mounted on top of the locomotives' smokebox. FYI, the first Southern Ps-4s built in 1923-1924 had the Worthington 3-B type feedwater heater mounted on the running board of the fireman's side.

Feedwater heaters on the WDWRR locomotives

Also, sad news from 2 years ago, former WDWRR foreman George Britton, who was responsible for creating the feedwater heaters, has passed away 😥: https://www.osceolamemgds.com/obituaries/George-Britton-4/#!/TributeWall

The WDWRR's trio of Buckeye 3" 3-chime whistles

Trivia: When the first three WDWRR locomotives entered service on October 1, 1971, they were all equipped with a Buckeye 3-inch diameter 3-chime whistle, which was commonly used on industrial switching steam engines, traction engines, little steamboats and tugboats. Despite having somewhat...

    News Walter E. Disney overhaul

Since Lilly is STILL wearing Walter's Buckeye whistle, I'm starting to miss the Walter wearing the Buckeye. Here's my whistle choice for Walter and Lilly; the former needs to wear the Buckeye whistle again and the latter can have a Crosby 3 inch 3-chime that sounds like this:

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Oh, you're right, I'm sorry if this was completely pointless, and I should have known it was complete a waste of time... I was still bitter about the rude Twitter users' over-reaction on my mind. :(

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Now that Walter got the Baldwin whistle back, I would like to have a Lonergan 5 inch 3-chime on Roger:

Hey, folks, Walter is back in service with the Baldwin whistle re-installed. Here's the video around the 2:05:15:

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

I know Walter's Crosby and Roger's Lonergan sound almost to one another, but there's a big difference; the Crosby's chamber shapes were sharp arched with a much lower note, while the Lonergan's chambers were somewhat hexagonal and a rather higher note.

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

Right now on the WDWRR, I saw Lilly and Roger being the only two trains running per livestream video, and I believe Walter is under maintenance.

    News Roger E. Broggie overhaul

What makes you think that the WDWRR weren't able to run three trains due to being understaffed? IIRC, they DO run ALL three trains (Walter, Lilly, and Roy) back when the WDWRR reopened from the last two years ago:
