My guess is a lot of imagineers have the same opinions about EPCOT that people on here do. I assume most of the bad decisions comes from the buisness side of things and the imagineers are forced to comply.

Well Disney does own the Alien IP and I think that would make it obvious that the attraction would be scary if they used that. Any way, it was originally planned to be Alien.

I honestly prefer the abandoned building over what the Play Pavilion was going to be.

Runaway Railway only fits (not well) because they shoehorned it into the existing building. That is what Hollywood Studios is now, shoehorning things into the "stepping into the movies theme."
