    Sebastian’s food limits

A kid who doesn’t eat the main course at dinner. 🤣And none of us are even close to overweight. We are active, fit, and normally follow a paleo type diet at home, kids included. Bread and rolls are treats for vacation and holidays. *comment above is in response to your post that has been deleted.

MMRR Queue Carpet in Horrible Shape

It was in bad condition when we went two years ago. They haven’t replaced the terrible threadbare carpet? That is something that can be done during the night with a proper team of workers.

    Sebastian’s food limits

I’m sorry my question and decision to skip the meal have made you so upset. ❤️ I haven’t demanded anything. I simply asked if they were limiting bread and decided we don’t want to dine there since they do limit and my kids’ favorite part of the meal was the salad and bread. I do think it’s silly...

    Sebastian’s food limits

I would just rather not pay a premium for a family style meal where my kids might not be able to get more of something they want to eat. The meal isn’t so great that it’s a big loss for us to skip it. (And I’m not into planning life lessons for my kids on a vacation. No soup for you!! 😉)

    Sebastian’s food limits

Yes, I think you’re right…similar to Topolino’s no longer allowing an additional side item. (Which we’re choosing to skip this time as well.) We’re being a bit more selective with our meals during this early “Disney adult” phase where our kids aren’t eating like adults, but we’re paying those...

    Sebastian’s food limits

Yes, it does seem some restaurants have stopped serving bread. But this is a family style “all inclusive” non character meal for $38 a person. Usually these meals at Disney are AYCTE and you aren’t allowed to take any leftovers to go. While it’s not a bad value for an adult, it’s a pretty...

    Sebastian’s food limits

We haven’t tried it! Thanks for the recommendation! (I always wish we had more time in DS so we can eat more food there. 😂) Maybe we’ll do this on departure day instead of Polite Pig.

    Sebastian’s food limits

Oh goodness. Thank you for the info! We are definitely skipping it.

    Sebastian’s food limits

Are they still limiting bread consumption at Sebastian’s? We’ve dined there before and enjoyed it. But I have 10 and 11 year old “disney adults” now. They eat more bread/ sides than other items. I feel like if I’m paying $38 dollars for their plates, they should be able to have three rolls each...

    AKL vs Boardwalk

Love this perspective! I requested standard and it wasn’t available, so we are going with the Savanna view. We are all excited!

    AKL vs Boardwalk

Thank you for the great feedback. The sleeper sofa/ chair is a bit of a concern. But it will be my boys sleeping on those so they’ll probably be okay. We’re planning a resort/rest day, so the pools and atmosphere are important to us. We’ve decided to request AKL! Now I need to decide if the...

    AKL vs Boardwalk

Help me choose! Shorter stay and we’ll be renting points. We haven’t stayed at either resort and they are the same price. Kids would be thrilled with animals and we love the food at AKL. We don’t mind buses. But I absolutely love the look of the remodeled villas at boardwalk. It’s just deciding...

    Line Jumpers/Cutters

Of course there’s a rule against it. Just like there’s a rule against swimming in the castle moat or climbing the Tomorrowland arch to do some chin ups. Disney doesn’t make you sign off on a rule book before you enter their parks, but there are plenty of common sense rules that guests are...

    Line Jumpers/Cutters

It drives me crazy when people just push through lines. I blocked some college aged kids from cutting in front of us on FOP. I saw them moving fast through the line and pushing through people behind us. So when they got up to us I said no you can’t go. They pretended to not speak English and...

To cruise or not to cruise…

For me it’s the aesthetics of the entire ship and the spaces inside, including the staterooms. I’m sure that not every other ship looks this way…but the pictures I’ve seen of some other cruise lines give me tacky neon Vegas vibes. Disney cruise ships look more classic inside and out. (deck 4...

To cruise or not to cruise…

I have no desire to get on a cruise ship other than a Disney one, so if we do a cruise I know it’s going to cost more than other lines. I am not a Vegas person and most ships look like floating Vegas to me. I’m wiling to pay for the classic nautical vibe. And Disney service/ kids...

To cruise or not to cruise…

It’s so true. We have some amazing memories of different trips with our kids. We love national parks and have done lots of road trips. You forget the work and the cost and remember the fun. I polled the kids. Three say cruise for sure because we’ve never done one and we’ve gone to the parks...

To cruise or not to cruise…

It’s good to get opinions and perspectives from others. Thank you! The kids will probably like a parks trip more, but we can do parks the next year. And I think I’ll regret it if we never try a cruise. I just need to keep myself from wavering since I’m missing the parks/ resorts so much right...

What are your top three attractions ever designed and opened by WDI? (defunct attractions are fair game)

As a child: -The old imagination pavilion. (This was before the time of children’s museums and I wanted to stay and play in the “hands on” area forever.) -Pirates -Studio backlot tour As an adult: -FOP -BTMR -Everest and Mine train are tied (I know mine train gets some hate but I adore...
