Yes that’s a good point. Also, maybe I should have noted that not all chromosomal disorders cause developmental issues, but a significant number do.

Just a note - other cases may be rare individually, but not in aggregate. For example, listing every single genetic disorder out there would be difficult if not impossible, but in aggregate “chromosomal disorders” could constitute a fairly significant number.

I believe it was clarified that was only for LL capacity on the “hottest” rides though. I don’t think there’s data on average or less popular rides.

I believe 80% is the absolute max (may be as low as 50%) for new rides and popular e-tickets, not overall capacity.

I think they cap Genie+ because they already don’t have enough availability for it, I don’t think that involves concern for standby. We’ll see, but Disney has consistently been all about every possible upsell these past few years.

I loves me some Disney, I really do, but I have no illusions about the nature of our relationship, lol. The standby lane will be left to rot, and that’s just the way it is. Genie users will likely be getting an upgraded, if more expensive, deal. Pre-selects and better availability at a minimum.

That is crazy!! Between tour guide and DAS crackdowns I do think that will decrease… for now at least. Long term, though, I think Disney needs to have a better product out there. If these families are willing to pay for tour guides they would no doubt be fine paying for Genie, if it actually worked.
