News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to begin Standby September 23rd

key seems to be to take advantage of the 1/2 hr early entry, be at gates 1/2 before that time, and you will be right into short line; using that 1 hr could save you an addition 60-90 minutes if you wait even a little later

One week until trip-have no idea what to expect

I can only speak to Nov 10-14 where it seemed in most cases posted wait times were same or close to actual wait times, its tough as once in line a lot can happen to increase or decrease wait time that can not be predicted, if anything they may be shorter but not by a lot; get into park as soon...

Trip Report We Kept Genie in the Lamp *COMPLETED*

agreed, a few weeks ago was my 11th lifetime WDW trip (BTW my first one was at age 6 at Christmas 1971), we managed fine without Genie+ and LL .......BUT can foresee that as crowds and lines increase with this holiday season and in 2022 as 50th celebration continues and pandemic wanes, many...

Trip Report Early days....long days...crowds and rain...

HAHAHA yea it rained hard a few days, apparently WDW sold out of all their expensive rain covers. We had packed light jackets with hoods so avoided the worse of it.

    Disney Skyliner

We used from AoA last week to EPCOT and DS (buses not offered), and we had no waits. I would think in early December you will have no long waits.

Trip Report Early days....long days...crowds and rain...

Frankly we only went because my wife and daughter otherwise would have only had 1/2 day in MK (in afternoon) and with crowds and lines, very limited ability to enjoy the rides and attractions they wanted. At the current cost, I don't see the value. But that's just my view of it.

Trip Report Early days....long days...crowds and rain...

It was a little busier then I expected, but not really surprised as crowds grew starting on Veterans Day as many other took advantage of federal holiday as we did, getting into parks early before main opening helped (we did not use Genie+ or LL but saw many families using) and plus since my wife...

One week until trip-have no idea what to expect

yep, and we managed just fine without using Genie+ or buying Lightning Lane (can see the advantage, especially for families with kids but the cost was just not one we could justify given how expenses airline tickets were, plus the resort with tickets, the few dinners we booked, and the items and...

One week until trip-have no idea what to expect

yea planning and having a strategy is key, especially for families with young kids. Less hours and increase in crowds makes for a challenge, but manageable if you have plan and reasonable expectations
