News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Not that part. The part that says to leave the park immediately. As if you are not allowed to do anything else at Magic Kingdom today.

News Tron coaster coming to the Magic Kingdom

Now for real posting: It's pretty good. The launch is really fun but the whole ride is short. I think I prefer Guardians at Epcot but it's a solid addition to Magic Kingdom. Oh and the locker system is very clever.

I'm sure they have no enforcement of this but it's pretty rude.

Upcoming road construction at Hotel Plaza Blvd and SR 535

It's not a Disney project. It's an FDOT project and it's completely unfunded. There is currently no information on when or if it will ever happen. The last update was over a year ago when demolition of the shopping center happened...

I got a confirmation email shortly after registering. But Gmail did think it was potentially spam or phishing so maybe check your spam folder?

Good news for whomever made this decision… no one is going to be talking about this version of Bruno tomorrow.

Rumor Hollywood insiders say there's growing tension at Disney as CEO Bob Chapek chafes at Bob Iger's 'long goodbye'

Safe to say no one will be talking about Bruno… I mean Bob… being at the Oscars.

Gulfstream VERY close to the castle

Like KORL07, KISM15 approach goes right over Disney World. These approaches are used every day and have been for decades. Its normal. Here is the approach plate overlaid on the map: Looks like that aircraft was being vectored by ATC to a standard 30 degree intercept of the localizer at KISM...

News Walt Disney World to resume sales of Annual Passes (New sales resume April 20, 2023)

Finally the return of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea content to the parks! Selling APs that can't be used because you are managing attendance via the reservation system seems like the most profitable way scam guests. Since they aren't doing that maybe they really do care about the Guest experience?

    Disability Access Service (DAS) Updates

A follow up to my trip and DAS test. As I mentioned the app worked well for booking DAS times after the first day. Overall I give the changes to the in park experience an A+. Using the app to book times is a huge improvement. Some tips: You can get your first time as soon as everyone in...

    Disability Access Service (DAS) Updates

I know you want to get it ahead of time but it doesn't seem worth it. On Tuesday we waited about 15 minutes at Magic Kingdom for DAS and it was done. It still might be better to do it on your first day at the parks until they figure things out with the virtual option.

    Disability Access Service (DAS) Updates

If you have had DAS in the past have you tried just saying that and asking to reactivate it for your trip? We didn't use the virtual option but just telling the Guest Relations host at MK we needed to reactivate it was enough. No other questions.

    Disability Access Service (DAS) Updates

Now with photo walk through. Note that the posted wait is 15 minutes but the DAS return is slightly less than that.

    Disability Access Service (DAS) Updates

Back at the parks today (Epcot) and the app is working to book DAS times. First up is Soarin. To book on the app you just pick the attraction and it tells you the return time. You then add the party members who will be riding with you and that's it. Really easy.

    Disability Access Service (DAS) Updates

To summarize our experience today. Nothing different than the DAS of the last few years. You get a time based on the current wait. When you use it you can get another. No limit except the closing of the park. Genie+ can be used with it to get additional return times and you can overlap the times...
