News Big changes coming to EPCOT's Future World?

I thought the pavilion loops for Land and Seas were removed a while back for the Spotify playlist. Are they still lumped in with the rest of Celebration?

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

the 2 points circled in red show the last known location of the track before it passes through the wall to the left of the frame. Considering the track only enters/exits the gravity building in 1 corner, there's only one possible perspective that the photo could have been taken from.

    Jungle Cruise Re-Imagining

The dancing natives and the ambushing natives are across the water from each other, meaning there's either a 3rd scene they're not showing us or they're leaving the stretch of river between the boat and Schweitzer Falls blank..

News The Electrical Water Pageant to resume performances at Walt Disney World

I've had good luck watching it from the Grand Floridian-Magic Kingdom walkway (right by the new boat launch), few people and a clean view

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

If im not mistaken, the original ribs used some plywood-esque material as a base. Is it possible that they've just taken the wall composition for that siding and turned it 90°?

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I'm talking about this one, it shows a track switch prior to the launch, and no switch after the breakrun, meaning there's most likely a switch in the gravity building.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

The cars rotate, the bases don't. According to Marni's drawing there's at least one dead end track switch in the UOE building. Looking at the bases it seems like there's a specific "front" orientation that they should be in at dispatch. While it'd be cool to load in the front car and unload in...

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

It certainly looks like it, but it's in a really odd position. My guess is that it's a sort of "fakeout" lift that helps serve as the 2nd track switch.

News Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind attraction confirmed for Epcot

I decided to have a go at roughly tracing the layout we saw from the pic (using the structural framing on the side of the building as a size reference) and filling in the blanks. Inside the orange box is the "confirmed" layout, the rest is pure speculation based on other similar Vekomas.

News Splash Mountain retheme to Princess and the Frog - Tiana's Bayou Adventure

If I recall, this was the reasoning for Runaway Railway going into the Chinese Theater instead of Animation Courtyard or elsewhere, having a show building that's already fit to host an attraction is a huge save for both budget and time.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I believe they were going for the Idea that you stayed inside the castle throughout the entire attraction, which makes sense considering the entrance and placement in the land. It does feel lacking In at least one more major scene, which seems to be a trend amongst this new set of fantasyland...

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

This is where I doubt the Imagination Tie-In. We know they're keeping Figment, we know that there are rumors circulating about Dreamfinder. But we also know that reputable sources are saying Imagination is 5-6 years off. I wouldn't draw any conclusions from the people "tagged" by the Imagineers...

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but although Rhode played the Dreamfinder in Imageworks, didn't he primarily work on the Mexico Pavillion? now if they got Baxter involved, that would be a dead giveaway

Kermit has been working with Bob Weis, hmmmm? (EDIT: AND JOE RHODE?!?!)

As sad as it'd be to see HOP go, this probably makes the most sense. It could be a nice quick addition to add before the 50th, though I could also see this just being for a revised version of great moments in history.
