Large scale demolition at Lost Continent

One what? Are you all sure you're not getting rumors for Florida confused with Japan? 🤔

Large scale demolition at Lost Continent

Pokemon was still on the table for a different part of the park when DreamWorks was greenlit, so one didn't replace the other. If you've heard any other developments, that's news to me.

Large scale demolition at Lost Continent

DreamWorks took Nintendo's spot. Where'd you hear this?

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

IOA doesn't have a "centerpiece" (unless we're counting a body of water.) There's no structure that you're supposed to be able to see and have it look good from everywhere, ala Cinderella Castle. Even Hogwarts has good angles and bad angles, and from across the lagoon is not its good angle. The...

I don't like the way she phrased that. They need to get a move on.

Large scale demolition at Lost Continent

It's Marvel Superhero Island. Universal gifted the rights to Disney so they could clear the way to build a land based on Ice Cube's War of the Worlds.

Rip Ride Rockit Permanently Closing August 18 2025

HHN guests must travel in front of the old Nickelodeon building and past the coaster to get to most of the soundstage houses this year (unless you go back the other way.) I'm no expert on coaster deconstruction, but I'd imagine that's to make sure everything stays in place and doesn't go flying.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

There's a real possibility that WDW gets hit by a rogue asteroid tomorrow. Some possibilities aren't likely enough to give much thought to.

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

There's a wide divide between "not in very good financial shape" and "wouldn't even be around anymore." Potter being a major boon to the resort doesn't mean it saved the resort. You could argue we wouldn't have Epic Universe without it, but the first two parks? I'm not buying it. Comcast...

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Yeah, I see what you're trying to do here, and it's more than a little tacky given the context you've chosen to frame it in. Universal were never in any danger of having to close the resort. SeaWorld is in much worse shape than Universal ever was and is still in operation, after literal decades...

    Epic Universe vs Magic Kingdom

    This is... premature.

Epic Universe is the lowest rated theme park in Orlando

Clickbait. These review sites (and the potential act of review bombing) didn't even exist when the previous parks were opened. Epic is opening to a completely different Internet landscape, which will inevitably be reflected in all the early kneejerk reactions.

    Universal Cruise Line

That was just contrived business speak for "No."

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

It's a Kuka ride. It's only omnimover-like in the sense that the vehicles are dispatched closely together in a chain that never stops moving (with the exception of the secondary loading platform for disabled guests.)

Universal Epic Universe (South Expansion Complex) - Now Open!

Don't give them any ideas. The preshow needs to work as intended. The entire attraction does. Even with the large amount of AAs, because of the way they're staggered between scenes, it's still painfully obvious when even just one of them isn't working.

Rip Ride Rockit Permanently Closing August 18 2025

While I'm not in favor of closing MIB, as I've already established, those two attractions aren't exactly working with the same amount of real estate. I have a feeling we'd be seeing more people complaining about another underwhelming attraction if they tried to put any sort of dark ride in...

Rip Ride Rockit Permanently Closing August 18 2025

I assume this would be some sort of interactive attraction. I think the big hangup with Ghostbusters potentially getting its own interactive attraction is the fact that MIB and Minions already exist. I've seen people wanting to replace MIB with Ghostbusters, but I think the park has more...

Rip Ride Rockit Permanently Closing August 18 2025

I got it! It's going to be the world's first bed coaster, The Exorcist: The Ride.

They said "if DisneyQuest opened today." Chicago's was the same format as Orlando's, no?
