Speaking of how would this work with GotG or other VQ rides? Do they sign up for queue and get a LL or can they do VQ standby then ONE additional LL reride?

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

So l had to take a break for a long time posting here. Life. Any how, judging by the tone of the thread I take it they confirmed this Cars land is replacing RoA and TSI?

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

Because unlike adventure, which is a wide theming net and very elastic concept in terms of time, “frontier” in the public consciousness is not. Frontier in America has a very specific definition and place in time. Using your logic, they could put a ride exploring another galaxy in Frontierland...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I agree to a certain extent, but I’m just showing how, with a bit more creativity, that Imagineering can preserve a bit more of a classic Disney land’s character even though they’re under a mandate to use Cars. It doesn’t have to be a modern day frontier, which strips the soul out of Frontierland

Also I think it should be known that IP for the sake of IP is not going away. However there is still a way to take popular IPs and integrate them into a properly themed ride. Check out this ChatGPT blurb with a prompt of a Cars Frontierland attraction, that fits the time era and checks the IP...

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

The irony is that Iger, of all people, recognized DCA was a brand withdrawal and ponied up to make a cohesive, awesome park that just needed a bit more TLC for attraction lineup. Then they went off the rails

Heading to Peru next month and 75 dollars will cover at least 4 meals and the food will be better then much of Disneys current offering at table service , guaranteed

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

While this is true, there is still suitable land for development in MK they could put Cars in without having to replace RoA or further degrade the thematic quality of Frontierland (what’s left of it after TBA). If DL can expand rather then replace within its paltry limits MK certainly can

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

The Cars concept looks fun and cool. I just don’t think it really belongs where they want to put it. Whatever happened to the “blessing of size” Walt talked about?

If they replace the Muppets section with Monstropolis, it shows Disney STILL hasn’t learned their lesson Add. Net. Capacity. It’s not rocket science

News Tiana's Bayou Adventure - latest details and construction progress

I too enjoy the MMRR ride but I think it’s park placement equivalent being a square peg into a round hole and a lot of bare sterile places (a commonality among many trackless rides it seems) knocks it down some. Good? Yes. Could have been better if put in MK and with a higher budget? Yes

News “Zootopia” is being created for the Tree of Life theater

I could remember wrong, but wasn’t the budget for AK cut significantly and this hamstrung the dinosaur area of the park and how much the imagineers could realistically do?
