I agree to a certain extent, but I’m just showing how, with a bit more creativity, that Imagineering can preserve a bit more of a classic Disney land’s character even though they’re under a mandate to use Cars. It doesn’t have to be a modern day frontier, which strips the soul out of Frontierland

Also I think it should be known that IP for the sake of IP is not going away. However there is still a way to take popular IPs and integrate them into a properly themed ride. Check out this ChatGPT blurb with a prompt of a Cars Frontierland attraction, that fits the time era and checks the IP...

The irony is that Iger, of all people, recognized DCA was a brand withdrawal and ponied up to make a cohesive, awesome park that just needed a bit more TLC for attraction lineup. Then they went off the rails

While this is true, there is still suitable land for development in MK they could put Cars in without having to replace RoA or further degrade the thematic quality of Frontierland (what’s left of it after TBA). If DL can expand rather then replace within its paltry limits MK certainly can

I too enjoy the MMRR ride but I think it’s park placement equivalent being a square peg into a round hole and a lot of bare sterile places (a commonality among many trackless rides it seems) knocks it down some. Good? Yes. Could have been better if put in MK and with a higher budget? Yes

I could remember wrong, but wasn’t the budget for AK cut significantly and this hamstrung the dinosaur area of the park and how much the imagineers could realistically do?
