    AK quick breakfast options?

I like the pineapple cream cheese spring roll from Pongu Pongu. I also do Starbucks, aka Creature Comforts. That’s a treat for me bc I don’t have one near where I live but ymmv. There’s also an outdoor stand in Africa near the safari ride if you’re looking for something like an apple or banana...

Trip Report Spring 2022 WDW - Haven't Had So Many Activities In Years!

We are going to stay there next week. I have read that on certain nights, there is live music in the lounge area (Scats?). Any scoop on which nights and hours that would be?

Trip Report Spring 2022 WDW - Haven't Had So Many Activities In Years!

I’m enjoying your report, too! (And tell Donald that he is my favorite.) I’m going to be there the week after Easter - so excited! I’m curious - did you ride the bus, and if so, is the bus crowded now like back before the pandemic started (people standing in aisles, packed in, etc)? We will have...

no more protective sleeves (for now) with lightsabers.

Come on, Disney. You can do better than this! Shame on you! (I don’t think that’s what Walt meant about trying to “plus” the experience.) Really, shame on you!

Breakfast? Thoughts on Trattoria Al Forno?

Breakfast is something I really enjoy while on vacation. I enjoyed the pancakes with fruit compote at Trattoria, and my husband loved the steak. I also like nearby “Ale and Compass” at Yacht Club. I get the dark chocolate waffles with cherries and mascarpone there.

I recognize the bread and sauces (yum!) but what are we seeing in the third and fourth pics? Do you recommend those?

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

I hope Disney brings back the policy requiring masks on everyone when truly inside. I’m vaccinated, but I don’t mind wearing a mask indoors. In fact, I’ll be more likely to visit again soon if masks are worn by all inside. I do think Disney should try to give people at least a few days of...

Need advice on which resort to stay at

I meant to add that otherwise, I really like CBR. The cast there always seems really nice, it just has a nice vibe, and you can also take advantage of the dining choices at the Riviera. But I’ve enjoyed all three places.

Need advice on which resort to stay at

If you’re going to do a lot of pool time, AofA has cozy cones around the Cars pool that would provide nice shade.

    Nervous about dining

I had lunch at Sanaa on July 10. Parties were spread out fine for me (roughly like every other table or so). But if you’re going to be waiting in indoor lines for rides surrounded by mostly unmasked guests, that seems to me like a similar level of possible exposure. Also, I agree with other...

Disney alienates 90% of their guests......What is going on?

Yes, this is true for us as well. We like the “bubble” and the theming.

Disney alienates 90% of their guests......What is going on?

So someone else is “collecting” resort stays? :-)

Disney alienates 90% of their guests......What is going on?

That’s one way of looking at it. For our situation, the reduced experience was perfect for the time. We went to WDW three times during the pandemic because we enjoyed going to a place where we felt safe with Disney insisting on the social distancing and the masks, and because we were taking...

News Hurricane Elsa impacts to Walt Disney World July 2021

We had planned to drive from Virginia to Orlando on Tuesday. Would you try to add a day before and do the driving on Monday, or wait a day or two and drive down once the storm has passed? I’m kind of leaning toward going a day early. I wouldn’t hate being in the room for a day, and I certainly...

A physician’s thoughts after spending 16 nights at Universal and Disney

Thank you for sharing about your trip, and I’m glad you had a good experience. Your post, along with most of this thread, is exactly the type of information I’m looking for - specific examples about your experiences coupled with an idea of your background/general approach to risk, etc. Was...

Trip Report Just returned from the World! POP Century 7/15-7/19/20-Completed!

Thanks so much for sharing your experiences! I’m trying to learn all I can about the possibilities, and hearing your details is very helpful. I’ve stayed at POP and done the skyliner before and really liked it, but that was in February. You really didn’t feel hot in the gondola? Even at 2 pm...
