To be fair, now wasn't a good time for Iger to step aside. This is an unprecedented moment in time and a major player like Disney shouldn't be led by a new CEO alone right now. Iger pitching in is the right move.

For items in your pocket, you don't need to grab a locker. Each seat on the "bench" has a built-in glove-compartment that your back rests up against. It pulls open and you can stow a phone, wallet, keys, etc.

I've been to the restaurant/store in Sarasota and it's absolutely fantastic. Everyone is in for a treat, this is great news!
