Fastest way would be taxi... lol. ;) But yes... monorail to MK unless there is an early closing on the night of your reservation. If the park closes early, they do provide bus service directly from the Polynesian to other resorts starting around 10pm to accommodate for Luau guests.
Orrrrrrrrr... the Fiscal Year closes on Sept 29th and they haven't released the prices for the new Fiscal Year. :)
If you go to the Seating Chart and Pricing for the Spirit of Aloha, they have the same dates listed.
Anyone who pays for parking at MK is a fool if you ask me... there are SO many ways around it its ridiculous. There's even a few ways to get into the parking lot without even driving through the toll plaza... if you really think about it and know your way around. :lookaroun

My dad ate there last week.. I felt really bad for him because its one of his favorites and always touts it as one of the best steaks he's ever had... and this particular time it was one of the worst. I don't know if it just happened to be a bad night, but the steak was all gristly and service...

I've said it a zillion times and I'll say it again... FRENCH QUARTER!! The resort itself is much smaller... closer walk to the lobby... only one bus stop... etc. etc. And it is usually pretty quiet. No quiet pools but you can always walk or boat over to Riverside to use one of theirs. I do...
