    Minnie's new voice

Me again. When we were in the parks in December ran into a Cast Member with the same first name as his niece. I mentioned to the other D.... that his niece was a special friend of Minnie's. She smiled in acknowledgement.

    Looking for advice

Yes, Fastpasses can be done any time after 60 (or 30) days. But unless you want a less popular ride why bother? The standby line for those rides won't be much anyway. The good stuff is long gone.

    TRIP 6/2020

I had the same problem, only we were there for 4 days in December, a supposedly quiet time. 1 - go on Monday Tuesday and/or Wednesday 2- research rides 3 - go to Epcot World Showcase late morning 4 - go on less popular attractions People Mover at MK, Mission Space Green at Epcot my boyfriend...

Long Line Memories and Line Etiquette, Your Worst Line Experiences

I went to Disney the week of RoR opening. In the line for FoP the woman in the couple ahead of me left after half an hour - and came back with another couple - very annoying. I have to admit, when I was in the bunch for a 7DMT rope drop I eased my way ahead of a lot of strollers (it was just...

    Looking for advice

Your Fastpasses will have to be done day of. I recommend a subscription to Touring Plans, make a list of must do then play with your plans to get them all in. 2 days is not a lot of time to do Disney - do you plan to do all 4 parks? Maybe dine at a resort for midday meal?

News ‘Rivers of Light: We Are One’ coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom summer 2019

I saw the show in early December - and it was about 40% too long. The effects were great - but then they were repeated, over and over.

Trip Report **COMPLETED** The 4 M's (Plus two J's and a N): A Birthday Christmas Extravaganza

that was a great TSM score! I wondered where the crowds were but I realized you were there same time I was - and the crowds were managable until the 7th. I commend your little boy for not getting tired and cranky.

Getting kicked out of Disney for cutting in line...doubt it will ever happen!

When I was in line for FoP with my boyfriend the woman of the couple ahead of me left the line after half an hour, Fine, She gotta pee. But she came back with another couple. Annoying. However, I admit when I was in the mob waiting for Magic Kingdom to open over on the right of the castle I...

News Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Standby Line and Boarding Groups at Disney's Hollywood Studios

We discovered from the less than great reaction to Millennium Falcon there the intersection between Star Wars fans and Disney fans isn't the same as the Avatar fans. Maybe in a few months the brouhaha will die down. The shoot em up rides (Toy Story Mania, Buzz Lightyear) and the speed through...

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

It is Terry Jones and not Eric Idle who is suffering from dementia.

RotR: Disney is still not at Universal's level

Disney isn't about thriil rides - there are plenty of Six Flags all over the country for that. I just came back from 4 days at WDW and even though I didn't manage to squeeze in RoR I did do Millennium Falcon. I don't remember the actual ride itself (which says volumes about it) but I vividly...

I hear the Rise of the Resistance opening ceremony is going to be pretty interesting.

I'd love it if someone could inobtrusively smuggle in a Tardis. :angelic: I'm off to WDW this afternoon and plan to do HS tomorrow - and be long gone before the action. MK at night should be pleasantly empty Wednesday.

Rumor Figment, well, to be replaced by Figment

I hope Eric Idle did his voice over a while back - I read that his former Monte Python cohort and soon to be knighted Michael Palin is heartbroken over his friend's mental deterioration

Going on a one day trip -- SW:GE and then whatever else I can manage!

you wanted dining recommendations - I wouldn't eat at DHS - how about Epcot instead? World Showcase has a host of [pricey] restaurants or you can hoof it to Sunshine Seasons

Going on a one day trip -- SW:GE and then whatever else I can manage!

you'll have to spring for a ParkHopper rope drop RofR - get up 90 minutes before opening and be at the gate hope you get FastPass for FofP - or if you only can get Navi then arrive an hour before park closes and wait for the rest of the day - whatever your heart wishes - if you park at...

Is Disneyland Paris better than the parks at WDW?

" I find that if I first try to communicate with my high school French the person I am speaking to realizes her English is better than my French and we switch languages. The assumption that American English is a lingua franca (especially in France!) is arrogant.

Too much money and not worth it..

$1700 for Disney is great budgeting. You should have just ignored the other visitors if their behavior bothered you. I'm going in December for the first time in 18 years - and I am planning down to where to eat (no table service, that's for sure). I'm paying for tickets - Park Hopper plus -...

    Galaxy's Edge vs. Pandora....

we'll have to see until everything is in place meanwhile, after the first day 300 minute wait, wait times for ST has been less than FoP, if that's any indication
