I know Disney typically releases a cd for their anniversaries like the legacy collection for Disneyland's 60th or the cd's for Disney World and Disneyland to celebrate 5o years of Disney parks/the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. Any news on a release for the 50th or will we not see one?

I haven't cared about seeing the characters for a few years anyway so i'll stay away.

Yes there was ,they were supposed to add them to ride before closing having them take jabs at how bad it was then close the ride for a full refurb to what I believe was Miss. Piggy's Superstar Limo (don't know if that was the exact name though)

Also could we get back on the topic of what could replace/refurbish for imagination rather than argue over the Muppets endlessly.

I mean I really like the Muppets and i'm 19 but I guess i'm the minority in this generation.

I think you underestimate how much people love the Muppets. Also I don't believe they go to that well enough and i'm sure a lot of people would agree.

As a big Muppet fan I love this idea and think if done correctly it could become a classic even without Dreamfinder (yeah I said it). I grew up with Pixar and Inside Out while good, is a movie I don't revisit that often and honestly wouldn't really care for as an attraction. Though finally...

I feel like we are going to here something about this area at D23 so thats why they aren't bothering to reopen. (sorry if this is not the thread for this kind of speculation)

I really hope they do something with imagination, but hopefully it's not Inside Out even though that was debunked awhile ago.
