Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Wild animals like deer are a natural reservoir for this virus. Even if every single person on the planet was vaccinated, which will never happen by the way, the virus will continue to mutate in the wild until your precious vax doesn't work again. This will never be over unless we learn to just...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Simple. Coronaviruses peak twice per year depending on the state. Once is the summer and once in the winter. The south experiences their worst peak in the summer, the north in the winter. Look back a year ago and you see the same thing. A larger peak in FL and TX then CA. Then in the...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

And are you seriously talking about 60 cases out of 100,000! Run for the hills!

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Ok, so this chart show CA had a HIGHER peak than FL. Explain that! What I see is a group of states all with different government mandates and reactions and very very similarly shaped case curves. Explain why all the charts are almost identical with different vaccination rates! By the way...

Coronavirus and Walt Disney World general discussion

Exactly! California and NY both have higher vaccination rates than TX and yet their cases are increasing at a faster exponential rate! One day soon people will wake up and look at the worldwide vaccine stats and realize how manipulated they are in the U.S. Look at the data out of Isreal and...

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Except it's pretty much the same dates as the Halloween Party. i.e. it replaced the party not a DAH. By the way congratulations on your vax

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

I agree with you that everyone has a price they will pay and there is nothing wrong with that. I think was makes a lot of people on this site sad to see is Disney going along with this idea and pushing up prices past the point most families can afford. Personally, although I have absolutely...

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

You are right. This was no party at all. It was way more expensive than the Halloween party with way less to offer. I went to MNSSHP in 2019 and the waits were about 10 minutes for most attractions in August. You may call this an "After Hours event", I call it a ripoff.

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Look at that. The entirety of the entertainment last night can be viewed in about 4 minutes total. To bad you have to wait around for around 1.5 hours or half the party to see all of it.

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

That's good to know. I figured face characters are different, of course they could put them in a costume for the other floats. Are they using the same drivers or different ones for each float? There would be no reason to have a different driver for each section.

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Usually I don't either, however the one at the halloween party was always my favorite. This felt like such a cheap replacement and kind of like a scam. It was sad.

    Disney After Hours BOO BASH

Let's talk the absence of the parade last night. What a scam! Given the fact that crowds are allowed to gather every night for HEA and large crowds formed for around 15 minutes before each cavalcade last night, we know for sure Disney does not care about crowds forming for a parade. So why...

Rumor My Genie Conclusions - The Future of WDW’s Ticketing

That's a lot of wishful thinking. This economy is headed for a severe slowdown followed by more big government money printing and high inflation. No matter what the talking heads "news" say I think we are going into a stagflation event and many people will not have the disposable income to be...

    Are pressed pennies still happening?

Are there any left that take an actual penny that you have to put into the machine? From what I can tell online they all take $1 or credit card. The ones that I have used at Disney like that don't even use a real penny but instead use a blank. You can tell because there is no flat design on...

    Park Open Procedures

True, but it has been the case for years that the parks rope drop time is before their official start time at AK, HS, and Epcot.

    Are pressed pennies still happening?

Looks like every single machine left in the park is now $1 or credit card only. So disappointed. Been saving pennies and quarters to take with me.

    Park Open Procedures

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know if there was a place like Disney Springs that I could take a bus to and then take another bus from there to Epcot. Since Epcot doesn't open until 11 I figured there would be plenty of time for the long commute. Hustling from IG might be a bit difficult...

    Park Open Procedures

Second this. Has anyone been to the other parks today? I hope the 30 minutes still applies. Also, does anyone have any advice for getting to the front of Epcot for rope drop next week coming from Caribbean Beach Resort?
