Premium Parking coming to Walt Disney World's parking lots?

And had previously worked for Disney. He talked about it in the Traditions video. He prided himself on that. Just because you don't work your way up inside the company, doesn't mean you didn't work your way up.

Premium Parking coming to Walt Disney World's parking lots?

For me, the huge difference between the two men has always been that Eisner started on the front-lines of Disney (I believe in merchandise.) and therefore had and understanding of what different areas of the company felt like. Iger doesn't have that. And you cannot replicate that. It explains...

what was the best WDW guest meltdown you've observed

One of my favorites I have witnessed was a little kid meltdown. The little girl was whining and crying that she was hungry and wanted ice cream. The mother finally had enough and said "You're hungry? Do you want some broccoli? Will you eat broccoli?" the little girl screamed "NO!" and the mom...

people who don't want to go with you

I've met those people, I just went without them. I even typed up a spreadsheet with how we can make it super easy and affordable and I would do all the planning, but nope. I went, had the time of my life, and never looked back.

    WDW Escape Wedding Plan

I would do some group stuff on the Boardwalk, street performances, caricatures, pictures, etc. That can take most of the time you have there, then walk on into Epcot and enjoy desert. :)

    Walking to the parks

Thank you! I didn't think about distance from airport to park, even though I should be good on time. I'm flying from Orlando to Las Vegas, going to a show, and then flying to LA. Is there a closer airport? I plan on flying Southwest, but I am open to flying into another airport if it's...

    Walking to the parks

Yay! I just have no orientation of the neighborhood, at all. My only LA geography is from Clueless, and that's very iffy. LOL! I'm assuming there's restaurants, convenience stores, and maybe a grocery in the area as well? Just to grab some protein bars and late night munchies. I'll mostly eat...

    Walking to the parks

This price tags in grey are the ones I am looking at (obviously the $103 is a little off in location).

    no 24hr party this year?

My boss might kill me if I ask for another day off in May, or in this case 2 days. Ugh.

    Walking to the parks

Hey everyone! I am trying to get a trip to DL & DCA before the end of the 60th, and was looking at AirBNB rooms to stay, since I am a "park comando" type and just need to sleep and shower. A lot of places on AirBNB say "walking distance," and I am fine with a mile each way or even a little...

Soarin' Expansion and new Soarin' Around the World film

When I was on my CP, they offered an operations class and we discussed this exact thing. It was the whole reason I took the class. Orlando funds Orlando, Anaheim funds Anaheim, and so on and so forth. Their is a contingency fund, if you will, that all parks put into and Disney essentially does...

Two big new features coming soon to MyMagic+

I always thought things like this would become the norm for MDE and it is one of the coolest things (and I'm a tinfoil hat kind of gal). I always thought this would become the norm for figuring wait times (swipe band when you enter the line, swipe as you load), interactive queues, endings such...

Soarin' Expansion and new Soarin' Around the World film

TWDC is an umbrella company. They basically operate each resort area as a separate business, therefor revenue generated from one location pays for that location. Shanghai Shedhi Group contributed to the startup costs for the park, which includes exclusive access to an attraction that they helped...

Disney Survey on implementing a $15 resort fee

It is annoying, but there is no indicator for people being out of the room, so they have to check. If I am going to be leaving a little later in the day, I put the DND on the door and they don't knock until check out time. I also vacate the room and usually leave the door cracked, or a note for...

Favorite "resting" places in the parks?

I went in there for about an hour yesterday. It is still one of my favorite places. When I was 9 or 10, I met Lavar Burton there. He had just released his book "Aftermath" and was doing a signing. One of the GREATEST memories I have in WDW.
