    Original Alice in Wonderland Ride

Wow! The most of MTWR that has been at WDW's Magic Kingdom in 24 years. So cool to see this! I love that they re-created some of the original pieces from WDW's version.

    I CANCELLED MY DISNEY TRIP

Ok- I understand if that's the case. I just thought it was a very relevant factor that should be pointed out that is adding to the reasons dissuading many from coming to the parks.

News New Polynesian Resort DVC villas building to open 2024

I'm already mourning the loss of the pristine, quiet grounds and beautiful tropical trees and landscaping I loved to stroll around walking to the GF. The extra green space was necessary buffer. To lose it will make it so much more uninviting, crowded, and unpleasant.

    I CANCELLED MY DISNEY TRIP

In November 2020, I moved away from Orlando back to the Panhandle of FL. I went to Disney again at Christmas, once in March, and one more time in May of 2021 before my annual pass expired. It was so much fun going all the time when I lived there, and I have since sorely missed it- so I have...

    Crowds - Is this normal!?

I remember going on family trips as a kid in the 2000-2006 period in February and it was great in terms of crowds... I also remember going in the period right after Christmas and before New Years in 2010, and it was wonderful.

Worst weather event you've ever experienced

April 2nd, 2006. Tornado warned severe thunderstorm in SW Illinois (near Fairview Heights). Sky was so dark, incredible winds, and we were in a house with no basement. Probably the time I feared for my life the most with a weather event. F2 tornado touched down a couple towns away.

New enhancements coming to WDW's Haunted Mansion for the 50th anniversary?

I really hope not. Sorry if this was already covered, but do we know if the figure was already made? If so, then I think it would happen in the somewhat near future if they went to all that trouble to make it and the only thing left is the install. I could also see how they could have it be...

What Ride Would You Want to See Put in the Old Snow White's Scary Adventures Building?

Yeah I've thought about how a ride could be put in the Philharmagic building. I feel like it really makes sense to have the classic Fantasyland dark rides right behind the castle and near the carousel (like Disneyland).

What Ride Would You Want to See Put in the Old Snow White's Scary Adventures Building?

Yeah, I think Sleeping beauty really needs a dark ride. #1 pick for me for this space.

I'd definitely take that over what's there now.

News Disneyland to give Snow White’s Scary Adventures dark ride a major facelift in 2020

I thought that poster had been around much longer (or at least a version almost the same). I can't remember where I found this image (it might have been off the Vintage WDW Facebook group), but apparently WDW had one for Mr. Toad that was almost exact (unless this was a fan made poster someone...

BAD experience at Smokehouse in EPCOT

Yep, I went within about 45min of closing and it was pretty dead in there (was this past summer when things were still very quiet after covid). Seemed as if some the food been sitting out either at the end of or past it's holding time under the heat lamp. My brisket sandwich was sort of ok but...

BAD experience at Smokehouse in EPCOT

I really like the menu options at the Regal Eagle Smokehouse at the American Adventure. When I went though, the food I got seemed like it had been sitting out for a long time/not as fresh...

    Wait times

Yes, exactly as I touched on in my previous comment (not the one you quoted). It is indeed faster with FP on an individual basis, but the current setup widens one's options for rides the whole day rather than a few rides with FP and a much longer wait for ones on standby you can't get FP for...

    Wait times

Yes if standby with no FP is outrageously longer there comes a point where it doesn't matter if the line is moving. But for a ride like Peter Pan's flight, waiting 25-30min. with a continually moving line vs. waiting 10min. (or even slightly longer as I experienced on super crowded days) with FP...

    Wait times

I've been loving no FP. Even if the wait is longer, having the line consistently move makes the world of difference for me. I love how the line for rides like Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan's Flight move blissfully quick as they are designed to. I was even surprised at how fast the Space Mountain...
