Disney finally swapped the TT 1.0 outdoor loop artwork from the app after decades of reflecting the original artwork. Have the physical park maps been updated? Additionally, the new entrance sign and canopy have made an appearance.

At least maps are still being made for free. Disney could at any time, just like universal, decide to stop making guidemaps. I'd rather have a physical map no matter what's on it.

Test track has operated for decades with the working door effect (minus that relatively brief stint it wasn't). I 100% expect it to be back in operation eventually. No need to dwell on what is most likely a timing issue.

If TWDC can coast for nearly a quarter of a century on the current, mediocre version, then just imagine how long a good version would last.

Looks wonderful! The physical sets add so much more to the experience and the style of the narration is spot on to the classic omnimovers that headlined the park 40 years ago. This is what 2.0 should have been all along. I need to ride it in person, but this just might dethrone 1.0 as the best...

With the dawn of the Instagram Influencer, I highly doubt a new figment ride will be a walk on unless its somehow worse than the current ride. That said, if your scenario were to happen, I'd imagine corporate will proceed to leave it as-is for the next 2 decades at least.

Absolutely not. Even though I don't remember it, I had family members who rode with me in 2006 and they all said the ride looked painfully out of date and corny, especially the descent scenes. Honestly, looking back at videos, they were right.

I remember when this thread was brand new..... Its funny, because I've got photos in the load area that are 17 years apart, and the only thing that has changed is me.
