Decided last minute to do Dopey rather than just Marathon. My fiancée wanted to do the 5k, so I decided if I was going to be doing two, might as well do all four again! 😂

I didn’t do Dopey this year, but I think I might’ve been tempted to make up the distance on the course during the marathon and just turn it into a Disney ultra going back through MK (and then regret that decision immensely by the time I exited Animal Kingdom 😂)

Marathon still does the loops of death through the Blizzard Beach parking lots, but I see it has dropped from 28 miles back down to 26.2 with a start at the Epcot lots rather than the road! 😉

Here's my conspiracy theory :cautious:: Sometime around 2020, Wide World of Sports decided they would outsource runDisney medal design to the collector pin division and they've become less and less like classic, shiny race medals and more and more like enormous, cartoony character pins ever...

Noooooooo!!! At least I don’t have to feel too bad about choosing the wrong challenge (or trying to do both) because both are essentially the same and nowhere near as classy as the old ones. Oh well, at least I still get to go run the World and the Land in a couple of weeks! 😁
