I'm in the camp here of being a bit older and hopefully wiser to recognize and believe Iger has nothing concrete in mind for how he plans to spend $17B. It was simply PR and political posturing. That aside, even if a huge expansion was coming to WDW over the next 10 years, I no longer...

The cast members are a big part of what has made a Disney Park visit magical. WDW without CM's .... I'll pass.

Haunted Mansion. I love other rides almost as much, but if the HM were to get shut down, I'd never go to WDW again.

I haven't followed this thread in a long time but as it was at the top of the thread list, I was reminded that Tron was announced SIX (6) years ago. It took only 1 1/2 years to build the entire original Magic Kingdom. Good grief....

Bob Iger and now Bob Chapek regularly earned/earn over $30M in annual compensation and routinely had/have their contracts extended time and again. The parks are packed and nothing, not price increases, not attraction downtime, not anything seems to be affecting attendance. For every "me"...

Back in the day when visiting WDW, I didn't have to do that. My expectations were high and they were exceeded every time. Not so any more. That's why we stopped going. I love what I remember WDW being, that's why I read these forums I guess...hoping that the tide may turn and WDW goes...

I'm sitting on a plane at the moment (waiting to taxi) and just observed two large strollers making their way on board. The number and size of strollers getting on planes these days is getting crazy too. We sure didn't travel that way when our kids were younger.....

That's kind of what has happened to food packaging. A half gallon of ice cream kept the same pricing for years ... except the container has slowly shrunk...the experience keeps shrinking.

They're not for you ... and definitely not for me, but apparently the Orlando parks are worth it to lots of folks at any price. Sadly.
