We've been trying all day today, and with how Disney has been mishandling this, we may just cancel our August booking and do Universal for 4 days this year. It shouldn't be this stressful and complicated to book a vacation. In fact, that goes against every purpose of having a vacation!

I agree. It should have been phases for people to use this. Some people need to chill and not worry about their 2021 reservations, when people are trying to get July and August of this year worked out.

Has anyone had to add someone to their trip and upgrade a room?

I'm going to have to try and call. It won't let me see about upgrading our room or adding someone to the trip. I have the park reservations done for the days my wife, daughter and I will be there, but can't add the fourth person yet, since we need to purchase a ticket for him first.

From what the person said, we could do our reservation modifications, then do the park reservations. He made it sound like we could do all we needed to all on Monday.

I was just on the phone with Disney, and it looks like I may be able to add the person to our trip, upgrade the room and all that on Monday. Hopefully it will all work out!

Us too! When all this stress goes away with having to slot our park reservations and making sure we get them, the absence of a lot of other mandatory reservations you had to get (FP+ being the worst offender), this will be more relaxing a trip without having to be somewhere at a certain time!
