Lighthouse Point to welcome guests in Summer 2024

If anything, the filming would have pushed them to try and get the site looking as nice as possible.

News Bluey To Join Disney Experiences at its U.S. Theme Parks and Cruise Line Beginning in 2025

I love Bluey as much as anyone else but aren't Disney getting in on this park presence a bit late in the game now? I know there was legal hurdles but the show started over 6 years ago now

News Disney Lakeshore Lodge (Project 89 - Development near Fort Wilderness)

Disney doesn't like legacy. It's a dirty word for them

News 'Encanto' and 'Indiana Jones'-themed experiences at Animal Kingdom

I imagine that's a cert as it's an investment to their income? It doesn't have to be for the benefit of the guests lol I am glad they are throwing so much at Cruiseline though

    Expansion: Animation courtyard and beyond

Im hoping that The Incredibles, Wall-E and Wreck it Ralf would be what they consider for Tomorrowland.

News Disney Plus Now Embedded Into Resort TV’s

yeah it is completely backwards. If the guest already had Disney+ then maybe offer them a discounted bundle or D23 subscription instead in order to boost those numbers up.

News Disney Plus Now Embedded Into Resort TV’s

Just shows tone deafness of Disney. After spending thousands to stay at Disney, you would think that they would have Disney+ free during your stay and a few days after you get home, send an email offering 3-6 months at 50% off to new members for example. But no……

News Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I think with the Cars franchise it’s more about the merchandise income than box office tickets which will justify it’s park investment

News AI Comes to Disney Dining: All-Star Sports Food Court Hosts New Self-Checkout Trial

To an extent, I get why they are doing it and going by how bland and small the menus in quick service is these days, the AI should find this a doddle but I can see it being more long winded like self checkouts where it doesn't recognise the items. Would I support this kind of tech in order to...

    Expansion: Animation courtyard and beyond

So assuming a 5th park will never come (and I don't think it will) where would Disney ever put a Marvel land if they get the rights back or have we concluded that they won't. IF they did, then there's 2 places it could go in WDW which is either Animation Courtyard and going right back to the...

Disney (and others) at the Box Office - Current State of Affairs

I give Disney a free pass on the sequels as it makes them big money and we want their box office to do well. They just need to remember that they need to make original stories in order to make sequels. I need to be careful with the Moana burnout so quickly with a live action on the way too...

    Prices up…profits down…

I don't think think a lot of families with kids will though. Kids won't have tolerance for a lot of the wait times. Yeah I was one of the fools that believed that.

    Prices up…profits down…

People are probably spending less on Food and Merch in order to even out the price rises and needing to get Genie+ in order to have a decent day in the parks. I imagine a large amount of families have probably hit their price ceiling too.

News Monster Inc Land Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios

I think Monsters Inc could be 2027. Tropical Americas I think will slip to 2028. Cars possibly 2028 as it’s just 2 rides. villains you can forget for now. That I don’t even see for 2030

    Moana 2 (Disney Animation - November 2024)

Just got home from it. Son liked it and I thought it was boring. The 1st is much better but I’m glad Disney will at least make a good profit on it
