    Memory Maker worth it now?

We’re headed to Disney World for Thanksgiving break. For those of you who have visited since the reopening, were you less inclined to pose for Photo Pass photographers due to wearing masks? I usually get Memory Maker for family trips but not sure if I will this time.

    Thanksgiving Restaurant Recommendations?

We'll be at Disney during the week of Thanksgiving - got a PIN code and just couldn't resist planning a trip. Ended up with a theme park view at Contemporary so this will be a new resort for us. Now it's time to make park reservations for each day. Any suggestions for which park - and which...

    Cake Pops!!

Yes! We stayed at Grand Floridian in February and Gasparilla Grille sold GIANT cake pops in the shape of Cinderella's coach. They were in clear packaging by the checkout. They were moist and rich and yummy!!

What time to head to DHS?

We'll be at Disney in early February and staying at the Floridian. In order to get to DHS between 5 am and 5:30 am, I'm guessing we'll need to get an Uber/Lyft? We've always relied on Disney transportation on previous trips, but with RoTR, looks like it won't be operating early enough.

Am I going to hate Pop Century?

If you're accustomed to deluxe resorts, then yes, Pop will be disappointing. I wouldn't hesitate to spend the $343 - I've stayed at both. Unless you're really trying to go on the cheap and keep it budget friendly, I'd pick POFQ - the vibe is much better. And, yes, POP is crawling with Brazilian...

Do you try new restaurants when you go to the world? What's one you keep saying you're going to try.

We try to add a couple of new TS places each trip to mix in with our "must-dos." We prefer TS to QS mainly because it's a chance to sit down, relax from the hustle of the parks, and take a little break. Sometimes it's hard to find somewhere to sit if you grab QS at a busy time. As a family, our...

    BRUTAL New Commercial!

We didn't take our two kids until they were 7 and 9. Since then we've been as a family of four 4 times - the most recent in 2017 when they were almost 17 and 15. It's still our favorite place for a family vacation. We did NYC twice for the Broadway shows, museums, shopping, and must-dos (Empire...

Crowds at Epcot's IG entrance with Skyliner now operating

Just curious - for those who have used the International Gateway into Epcot, how bad is it compared to what it was before the skyliner? I understand bag check/entry point areas have expanded, but wondered how crowded it was. We always enjoyed entering Epcot that way and why we loved staying at...

Considering staying at Old Key West...for first time

Good point about using Uber to avoid buses. We've only relied on Disney transportation to get from park to park/park to resort, so we're inexperienced there. However, if Uber/Lyft is more efficient, then it would be worth it, especially if we're saving $1k.

Considering staying at Old Key West...for first time

WoW! What a deal you got! I'd love free dining and Memory Maker and the heavily-discounted ticket. With in-laws, it sounds like OKW is the perfect place to stay! Thanks for the input!

Considering staying at Old Key West...for first time

Thank you for this comparison! We do love the convenience of walking in and out of Epcot and back to our room for an afternoon rest. I'd love to save the money, but it's hard to give up the easy access. Still waffling, but leaning Boardwalk. We are squeezing in a 5-day trip, so we try to...

Considering staying at Old Key West...for first time

We've never been there, but may be able to save around $1,000 by staying there over the Boardwalk Inn for our next trip. Just wondered if anyone had any comments from their experiences. Obviously, the downfall is not being able to walk to Epcot or Hollywood, but for $1,000, it may be too good to...

Likelihood that SW: GE opens by second week of Dec.

Thank you for the response. Guess I'll just be paying a lot to see SW:GE.

Thanks for the insight. That's what I was afraid of!!

Likelihood that SW: GE opens by second week of Dec.

Lots of people are waiting to book their next Disney World trip until after SW:GE opens. I know that Disney has projected a fall/late fall opening, but many message board posters have also indicated that construction is running behind. Just wondering if anyone has an educated guess. Disneyland's...

    Coronado worth it?

CSR is our favorite Moderate, even beating out POFQ. Pay for a preferred room and you're close to the bus stop, food court, bar, etc. I agree with what someone else said about its having an almost deluxe feel. We had a positive experience for lunch at Pepper Market and my husband and I liked...

Looking for Recommendations for Trying (New to Us) Restaurants

Hi, Hcalvert! We've visited Disney World recently with kids and one of our favorites at Animal Kingdom is Yak and Yeti. My daughter (16) says it's her favorite restaurant period - anywhere. She likes any of the noodle meals and loves the chicken and waffles. It's got a fun atmosphere, too. Your...

Wilderness Lodge or Wilderness Lodge Cabins?

Thank you for the information. Maybe I was thinking there were more humble cabins at Wilderness Lodge. These prices are outrageous! Looks like we'll stick to the Lodge itself.
