Just curious, has anything been said at all about Discovery Island or is Disney fully content with letting Bay Lake reclaim it (which would be understandable considering its location)?

Curious to see if this would be a full pavilion or one massive attraction.

Stitch has officially been abandoned for six years, and based on recent comments (or lack thereof), wouldn't be surprised if that revival idea has died and it's gonna continue to sit. An abandoned attraction in the world's most visited theme park, sitting at the very front of one of the lands...

FWIW, the recent somewhat revival of something possibly happening here was supposedly a retrofit of the current format.

A new patent that references Soarin' by name, and makes the attraction more thrilling, with a much wider range of movement.

Well... I saw the second-to-last Fantasmic right before covid shut everything down. After waiting for 3 years (no longer a passholder), I was finally going to see Fantasmic again at the end of a long-planned Hollywood Studios day with friends (that was also supposed to happen before covid)...

Sorry for semi-necro, but with all the word going around that this upcoming D23 will finally be where we start getting actual announcements, could Stitch finally be getting put out of its misery?

I believe the skinned Stitch is still just sitting there, and the other one supposedly got saved and sent to the Archives.

A Animatronics are gone (except for the cannons I believe?), but pretty much everything else is intact.

As I said in another thread, with Little Mermaid getting revived at DHS, and the Lilo & Stitch live-action coming up... What are the chances this could be a somewhat revival of SGE?

Wait since when were they building something next to Imagination? This is news to me.

Did we ever get any update on the recent rumbling about a possible SGE replacement? ...dare I say, with this being restored (and the Lilo & Stitch remake coming up), it could even be a restored SGE?

If this develops, I wonder if the good ol' chili dog and general whiff that SGE had will still be in there (I've heard CMs say it's still there when they're trying to take a break). Wouldn't be surprised if it's just permanently scarred into the building at this point. 😅

Edited it to double down on emphasization that it's nothing definitive. My bad, got a lil too excited. I was one of the five people who loved SGE, and I've been waiting for anything about a possible replacement.
