Anyone here who can shop at Universal?

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I called and ordered, and just received it in the mail. The rep couldn’t tell what it looked like, so I was just hoping the design hadn’t changed. And it hasn’t! Same mug! Thank you very much!!

Anyone here who can shop at Universal?

I broke one of my wife’s prized possessions - a Lorax mug she got at Universal. Any personal shoppers here who can help me out?

    An unpopular FP opinion?

That can't be right. If that were so, those posted times would hardly ever change. The only variable would be the number of FP they give for a particular time period. And if that were so, why would Disney voluntarily permit wait times to vary from 30 mins to 110 minutes? But agreed that they...

    An unpopular FP opinion?

I saw that happen, and if they really do use that to update posted times, then that's a really poor system. I watched them hand one to the guy in line behind me when the listed wait was 70 mins. When he got on the ride almost 2 hrs later, that badge told them nothing other than that their...

    An unpopular FP opinion?

Interesting. So there's no policy? Just the discretion of the "grouper" or as I would say, the person controlling the merge? Of course, they are only as good as the information they're given. So if they think it's only a 60 or 70 minute standby line when it's really a 110 minute line, they...

    An unpopular FP opinion?

I'm new around here, as my post count will attest. And I am guessing this will be a unpopular opinion. But I need to lodge a complaint about the "fast" pass system. Just got back from 7 days at WDW. It was awesome. I took advantage of lots of FP, but also stood in lots of lines. (Though it...

Best way to get to Magic Kingdom from The Swan?

Bus. No question. If you wanted to drive, though, I think that parking is free since the Swan is a Disney resort for that purpose. But, as others have said, parking involves a tram and a boat or monorail and everything those transfers entail with an infant. In short: take the bus.

Swiss Family Treehouse and Tom Sawyer Island?

Definitely do Tom Sawyers Island! So much fun to explore. And I assume they still have the paintbrush hunt? if you find one of Tom Sawyer's paintbrushes laying around the island, you can present it to the ferry captain for a free fast pass for everyone in your party.

How does one book the BOG?

Is it possible to walk up in the morning and make a reservation for later in the day (dinner)? Do they hold any reservations back for walk ups? That's how we would do the Castle back in the day.

Insight Needed for Staying at Swan

If you get some promo points with the new card, then yes, you might have points to spend on a room at the Swan. Otherwise, you'll need to be a big spender to collect those points between now and October. Swan rooms are generally around 12,000 pts a night. You collect Starwood points on a point...
