Just got back from a trip and got to ride this several times. I noticed in the mill scene where the first Tiana is located that there seemed to be some loud machinery noise in there like a bad bearing in a pump, or something like that. Don’t remember this in Splash. Anyone have any info?

Just got back from an 8 day trip. In the parks every day. Never waited more than 25-30 minutes for anything, and we did every ride in all 4 parks, most multiple times. Didn’t have a problem getting a VQ for Tron, Guardians, and Tiana (meh). We purchased LLMP for one MK day and one HS day, but...

Was just randomly checking wait times, and at almost 11am local time going into a holiday weekend I didn’t see anything over 50 minutes in any park. And that’s Disney wait time, so that 50 is probably closer to 30. We’ll be there toward the end of next week, so I hope the trend holds.

Ok. The poster @TrainsOfDisney was responding to is trying to drum up some outrage on this site about something that isn’t happening. I’ve seen a lot of respectful back and forth and folks throwing their 2 cents in like folks tend to do. There’s not some big racist conspiracy going on.

All this talk about adding capacity misses one thing. They don’t want the parks any bigger. That would add infrastructure and maintenance to said infrastructure. It also requires more cast to run. All of that eats into profits. They’d rather cram more people into “underutilized” space than add...

Which means it’ll probably sit there and rot for 20 years like Wonders of Life and several more things I could mention.

That makes absolutely no sense. You don’t have to plan to stop and enjoy a quiet place in a theme park.

Disney must like the footprints of their parks as-is in Orlando. Any pure expansion adds infrastructure to maintain and more cast to run, thus cutting into the bottom line. There’s really no other explanation as to why they have all that acreage but never seem to give us much of an expansion.

I’m leaning toward Muppets going away for this. They announced where Tropical Americas location will be. They didn’t announce this or Cars, and well, we see how Cars turned out. More disappointment incoming.

True, but by all accounts GMR needed a ton of work and was stupid expensive to staff and run.

I never said they weren’t or that MK only got the budget. HS will still be heavily lacking even with the door coaster/MI land, especially if Muppets and Star Tours is on the chopping block. Same with AK after Tropical Americas. Epcot’s “major overhaul” was, uh, something, I guess. Villains Land...
