I don’t know. Re-purposed spaces are just fine especially if the re-purposed space is significantly better than the original. Gutting that existing space completely gives a lot of options for it to be reimagined. Sometimes keeping that exact location has its benefits.

Good luck ever getting in through RCI. Almost a non-existent benefit being promoted by RCI. Even as an actual DVC member reservations are harder to come by. Bookings are only increasing as are the crowds. You’re better off just renting DVC points or buy into DVC direct or through resale.
